Recently, we've run into an issue (in this thread) where images recently inserted into forum posts (or even PMs) are not displayed to others correctly - only a link with the name of the file is shown (leads to 404 Not Found). The images are inserted the same way as usual (which worked previously). This seems to happen only to some users. Using a different browser and/or disabling ad-block seems to help sometimes. Is this a known issue? Just putting it out there in case it is something new. Peace. ?

Others in the thread mentioned the issue. The post #3963 by snowdog04 shows how the issue looks like in the quote.

myuhinny Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 @erplederp That quote by snowdog04 was like that because those pictures were no longer there anymore as the author removed them and if you right clicked them it gave you a white page with a 404 error. I went ahead and deleted everything out of their quote.
