People have gotten it even better than that. How about No and No , Ninja theory is very insecure about their product they don't support mods like other capcom published game even other games like street fighter sucks at least they have major attraction that pc had advantage on is the mods. shit even dark souls is open for SDK on pc, they began to know that modding community is a trend now, but ninja theory hell to the no , trust me i guaranteed you they not allowing such things as modding the game its a reebot , modding this would be dumb. I give this game another chance if they screwed up big time on 2nd sequels i'm quitting buying dmc future release t he first one was a complete utter disappointment. Remember if the game is reebot everyone know a reebot doesn't worth anything get Triple A quality mod. call me biased but i speak the truth here ,tell me one reebot mods on game like this nothing , they would rather wait a new engine released so they can port mods easily , but saying this game would be 10x better on mods hell no, plus the game is way too short to be modded. [/quote'] Actually, DMC was mimicking a unique combat mechanic (first introduced in 3 then also added in 4) w/c is jump canceling. You can pretty much do all kinds of combos mid air without touching the ground, it requires fast hands and timing to successfully execute. JC'ing in DMC though is really sluggish and kinda broken.

The stinger has been my favorite move since the first game and it was so easy to pull off to keep the combos fluid and help clear a room. If not for that one flaw I would have played the game more than once. Oh and I hate all the weapons besides Eryx and rebellion. Osiris is too weak and Arbiter is too slow. Wouldn't even use them if I didn't have to kill certain enemy types with them.

Going into ANY game judging it based off it's predecessors or similar games is wrong. A game has to stand on it's own, not on top of the games that came before it. Your opinion of another game should have no bearing on the game you are playing, because you aren't playing another game, your playing the one your playing. And hate to break it to you but the plots in DMC games have ALWAYS been dopey and ridiculous, this one is no different. What makes the story fun is the character to character moments, and in my opinion, DmC fully delivers on those moments. And nowhere did I once say Ninja Theory was superior. You come off as having gone into the game determined to hate it for no good reason other than because it's different. I went into with no expectations other than to have some fun ridiculous combat, and it delivered on that. I had a fun time playing it, that's all there is to it.

I had a fun time playing it, that's all there is to it. and no ashal i didn't really miss your point , i get what you ,meant, i didn't attack you with hate just because you like the game its your money not mine so it's stupid if i argue with you when you buy this game , as for me i'm more into balanced game. i owned " all the dmc " and played through the end let me tell you , you know i didn't get the dmc reebot ending it's more like a sequel bait i'm completely lost at the end , like if you play through again reaching the end boss " spoiler alert" everything is messy like " wtf is going on " the game some how have that mixed in vibe that you clearly not remembering where you left off , do you get what i mean " badly written lines and timing" , aside from the battle it has that one " bad ass " moment , but really i don't want to use just one weapon to survive the whole level , a very few handful weapons like u unlock this certain weapon and that's the only friend you get till the end because the last weapon is utterly useless it's not even awesome , people who complain just the hair it's retarded , if the new dante is fine then the game is fine , but if the gameplay and the timing of the story its self really crapped down the game is never fine, dmc is meant to be goofed off but i what i hear people saying this time its serious " goofy " really i'd say it's denail , if you want goofed down game DMC 3 is your answer but at least the goofy part has its timing when older dante is serious man everything going down he will kick your ass until you shaved off from this earth that's the older version dante we know but the new one like Hes going soft really .... did the game clearly missed out the pilot of the story at least explain what's going on with the reebot they didn't execute that part pefectly , it's poorly written, but still the battle system they have is way better then lord arcana in PSP poor man's monster hunter... DMC 4 however has extremely well done reward like when you unlock nero you experience yamato in the making , you have few of weapons that you can use till the end , like the older one t he game will force you to use every weapon that you unlock because when you fighting off a boss like in older game you need to use that particular weapon that pulls it's weaknesses , you don't see that on reeebot what did they give you eh like 3 freaking weapons to rely on the entire game " wow that's bs " don't you think " what about other ones let me see how about don't since the stats is stupid it remain on the inventory the only time you wanna use them is killing horde of demons that doesn't seem to be effective enough to beat that level try the last part and tell me how many weapon you use to beat just one level , like other dmc the harder the level stronger the weapon is at least pulling 20 combos just to beat 1 monster.

I have to disagree on the part where you said that games shouldn't be compared to their predecessors , for reboots it may differ but as for sequels ,if they are not better than previous one there is no progress and if there is none then the game doesn't deserve to be made . Take for example the fifa and pro games or the cod series (it's the same game every year, it's fucking unbelievable) its is just an annual cash in for both developers and publishers and people still buy them. I don't know what to say anymore .
