Oh shit WTF Posted October 20, 2019 Posted October 20, 2019 Either a female warrior getting raped alive after being defeated or a female warrior getting necro'd after being defeated and killed by low-moral enemies , considering both can happen at very low rate. I'm just curious. Not that I'm into these.
Sarathis Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 Not quite sure what you're asking here. Is this a hypothetical scenario? Sounds as though you're asking what's more realistic, a live rape or a necrophilic rape after death? Rape is an act of violence and power / domination far more than one of sexuality. It's one of the main reasons why it was and is still so prevalent after battles. For the same reasons, rape will almost always be more an act against another living being than against one who's already dead. Historically speaking, rape of the dead did happen and was mostly an act of hate, dominance, and / or frustration, usually against an enemy recently killed. Rape of the living is far more common, however. Due to it being a selfish act of overpowering and forcing oneself on another, the act loses a lot of its psychological effects if the victim is deceased and can't emotionally experience being overwhelmed and violated. The taboo against having relations with the dead make necrophilia a pretty rare kink. Due to religious beliefs and various old world superstitions it wasn't practiced all that much even in ancient days, though it wasn't unheard of after and during battle as I mentioned before. I imagine it was a pretty rare occurrence that a person practiced it long after the heat of battle wore off, never mind on a repeating basis. All this has been a long-winded way of saying that a living female warrior being raped after defeat is far more likely and 'realistic'.

But wouldn't those enemies worry about after they rape a female "warrior"? or would they rape them alive and kill them away afterwards?

Are you asking if they'd worry that she'd somehow get free and later try to take revenge for raping her? I think that's more a question for the individual than a general inclination. It would also depend a lot on the circumstances. If she were a warrior on one side of a battle who'd been taken after the army she was a part of was defeated then she might be treated as a prisoner of war and executed or perhaps imprisoned or enslaved depending on the society. If she were, say, a wandering warrior who was kidnapped by bandits or evil soldiers they might rape then kill her or they might decide to keep her around as a captive to continue raping if they were arrogant enough to think they could keep her from escaping. As I said, a lot of it would be decided by the individual rapist's inclinations and how much trouble the female warrior gave them before they subdued her, I think. If she just injured some of the enemies they might chance keeping her alive to continue using her. If she killed a few of them they might kill her afterwards in revenge. If she's good looking enough they might decide to keep her alive and try to ransom or sell her later. There'd be a lot of options that would depend on their circumstances and who she and they are. A lot of rapists become overconfident, thinking that they've thoroughly cowed their victim and she will be too subjugated to dare trying anything later. Or they'll simply believe that, having beaten her in combat then raped her once they can always do so again. Mostly, for the majority of warrior, soldier, bandit, etc... rapists, it'll depend on how much trouble it'll be to leave her alive. Can they transport her, are they near a base they can keep her in, how much does she struggle, do they have enough food to keep her alive, is she their country's enemy, can they profit from her monetarily, etc, etc...? Like I mentioned, there are a lot of factors involved but it's mostly up to circumstances and the lead rapist's personal inclinations. For the time period immediately following the rape, though, I think their concern over what the female warrior might do would be extremely low.

I think Sarathis depleted most of the answers, but there are a few things I'd like to add. If they consider her a threat but don't want to kill or keep her, they could just cut off her sword-hand and leave her somewhere in the wilderness. That would make her unable to get revenge. It's cruel but still better than murder. The only way she could get revenge is to hire mercenaries, so the bandits would probably have to move their hideout. Maybe not worth it. One thing is for sure though. Defeat's left for dead scenario is not realistic, but it's convenient for the player. The scenario where you have to get up and escape isn't very realistic either since the attackers wouldn't just look the other way while she gets up and runs away. At least you get a speed debuff to make it harder. That's the only realistic thing about it.
RJLbwb Posted October 25, 2019 Posted October 25, 2019 Speaking from real life experience in comparative full contact martial arts; personally I find it very hard to believe a guy is going to rape a woman right after a fight to death, wanting to live is a bigger attention geter than some woman's ass and if that ass just killed your buddy you might be incline to just kill her in fit of rage. Just keep in mind "Realistic" means she isn't cavorting around in a leather bikini, Skyrim is a cold place so a young athletic woman in cold weather gear and armor is going to look more like a young man. Also, again realistic, sword fights aren't boxing marches like Fantasy somehow has convinces itself, someone who just lost one has serious injuries so how sexy are car crash victims? My expectation would be if any rape happens it would be if the hypothetical bandits decided the woman warrior was worth ransoming and then when they calmed down and had few meads decided to have some fun (and again that assumes the bandits aren't bent out of shape over her killing their friends) Of course mileage is going to vary, bandits are there for the money, not for blood. I would also expect nords and imperials prisoners to be abused out of hand by the Forsworn since the Riech is race war, and the then the Falimer.,.. One thing that's going to inhibit bandits is assault and robbery aren't capital crimes in Skyrim, so it's in the bandits interest to keep it highway robbery. Then again if you want pure realism, why is a some half assed bandit looking for his next meal taking on an armed warrior who is going to fight back and possible kill or injure forsaid bandit? And there are female bandits so it's not like these bandits are lonely horn dogs,...
WCSC Posted October 25, 2019 Posted October 25, 2019 For a female "warrior" not a typical townfolk most likely it would be using here for a while then offing here followed by Necro. No need to risk revenge
