Official post:  Fallout 76 updates

Why?  Well, as of yet Im not aware of an official Fallout 76 board on Lovers Lab.  Because private servers are next week, and mods arent too far behind.

Kick off mod ideas / requests:

1) AAF

2) A vampire mod based on being a "science fiction sickness, not a supernatural thing" complete with tentacle based feeding(see my signature).

3) usual animations for everything in game.

4) no cost to fast travel

5) Alternate starts, (like Raider, perhaps using assets that come when NPCs finally come)
6) more blood, guts, nudity, sex, and Rated "M" Things.

Given the multiplayer aspect, or that even private modded servers would be run on bethesda servers vs  "my own" I can appreciate the fact that this may change some things in terms of modding/complexity/capability.

I love all of these idea's, I'd also add 7) armor/outfits that are sexy/ripped/revealing. Then 8.) PowerArmor suits that are sexy/revealing!

A dead horse you could ride around instead of fast traveling would be cool too. JK!

But OP's suggestions would rock for this game that despite the hate it receives is still fun to play. If anyone has Fallout 4 mods plugged into Fallout 76 and want to share I'm on the lookout! Thanks

I do not hate the games, I hate the company these have built.
if Skyrim not had such a success in modding, then would be these bug-infested games already long forgotten!
thee also it's just about it, that Fallout 76 is modified, would be it for Bethesda games give no mods, then nobody would know these games anymore! :classic_wink:

Totally agree, Bethesda would not be here today if it wasn't for the modding community. Full stop. Now they are trying to monetize for their gain (giving the modders a small sliver of the profit) and are making just generally, greedy and deplorable decisions. But as I already have this game and it is moddable (though harder), I might as well enjoy it while I can.

And if Bethesda is looking at this, shame on you for these decisions. If I do play another game of yours, it will be with the mindset that I've already paid for it via the $80 price tag of Fallout 76 + monthly sub.

Having games to mod keeps the modding community alive and gives modders a place to perfect their craft.

I agree Skyrim was probably at the height of the modding scene with the almost immediate release of paid mods following and the restriction of them completely with the online releases. Using the same engine basically screams 'mods', and the store proves the descision behind this.

I was surprised '76' wasn't built more like Elder Scrolls Online to place it solely as a multiplayer experience, but instead chose the path we now have.
