Increased CTD rate with extremely weird glitch

While people mentioned the "outfit changer" mod was in my logs a lot, it didn't appear to be hurting my game.  Just showed up a lot in logs.  But removing it didn't hurt or help.  The mod appears to be functional.

I said it wasn't happy. No mod should spam your Papyrus log like that. Either the mod has something wrong with it or you have done something with the installation.

I don't like to change it much, I don't like enhanced graphics, etc.  I usually prefer stability over pretty.

The only thing I can think of, is that my Nvidia graphics aren't working properly with ENB (which is something the guy who made ENB told me was possible.)

These two statements do not make sense. How can you prefer 'stability over pretty', run an ENB and suffer from regular CTDs?

If your NVidia card has problems with the ENB (possible but hmm) then change the ENB.

I understood what you said.  I think you misinterpreted my response here.  I installed the mod as I did any other, and when I took it away it made no change to my problems (or at the time lack of problems).  Neither better nor worse.  My Skyrim now works fine with or without it.  So whatever the case, it's not giving me any trouble.  Right now it is deleted.  Going to try one of the other outfit changers someone suggested, as I have been told the one I was using wasn't the most functional and what you told me certainly supported that.

I use ENB for some of the fixes I was told it includes.  Otherwise everything is set to be vanilla or closely mimic vanilla.  You know, that INI setting: "UsePatchSpeedhackWithoutGraphics=false"  Mine is set to "UsePatchSpeedhackWithoutGraphics=true"  With some other recommendations courtesy of  the ENB forum.  So ENB is doing nothing for my games graphical appearance.  It's as ugly as vanilla Skyrim or close to it.  You can check the screen shots of my tat mods for proof.  Ugly vanilla Skyrim.  The only things I try to make pretty in my game are the player character and humanoid NPCs, which as far as I know isn't related to ENB.

That said, I fully admit I barely understand ENB. But I had help with setting it up by the guy who made it.  He was the one who told me that ENB didn't work well with Nvidia.  Since he made it, I didn't question him on it, especially since I didn't think I'd understand.

EDIT:

Oh, and I do not suffer from "regular CTDs"  Prior to about a week ago, it was running smooth.  I could go 5-7 hrs of straight play with no issue (Maybe Longer but I don't have the time in my life to play that long).   Once in a while I'd get a very rare random CTD.  I have repeatedly said, that what I mean by "base CTD rate" is when I can play more than 5 hrs without it crashing.  I mean virtually no CTDs besides random chance.  Basically what I expect of a Bethesda game.  Really hope I cleared that up.

Getting tired of trying to clarify the same thing over and over.  But it seems like nobody is getting what I'm trying to say.  I don't know how to make it any more plain.  So BULLET POINTS:

1. The frequent CTD is very recent (about a week).  Prior to that no trouble at all.

2. Changing the log settings seems to have resolved it for now, but I believe there is a deeper issue.  But I do not know where to begin besides "game settings" which is vague.  I tried not to change much so I don't know what could have gone wrong.

3. The outfit changer mod I was using is definitely faulty, but not the source of my problem.  Deleted it anyway.

4. My ENB is running on the lowest settings and I have no other graphical mods.  The prettiest thing in my game is the CBBE body+ Demoniac skin texture.  That's it.

5.  In regards to the Nvidia thing, that's what I was told by the guy who made ENB about a year ago when I first started using it.  I didn't ask questions because ENB doesn't make much sense to me.  I don't fully understand what it does aside from adjust lighting and a few fixes, and even that I'm not clear on.  So I had help setting it up and run it very close to vanilla.

6. I'll consider that MO is not the best, but I'm not switching till I know why.

7. I admit that I was wrong about the whole "script heavy" thing.  But I can only go by what I was previously told.  Early in my skyrim modding days that appeared to be the case.  But recent experiences have proven otherwise.  I thought it was the benefit of using MO, obviously that is not the case.

I'm retired so I do have the time to play 5-7 hours. At that rate I can go weeks without a CTD and I am always prodding and poking my game.

"UsePatchSpeedhackWithoutGraphics=true" That means you are not using an ENB. You are using ENBoost which is the memory management tool. An 'ENB' comprises ENBoost and a preset. The preset is what gives you the fancy graphics. You can run ENBoost without a preset but you cannot run a preset without ENBoost.

Grab the game by the bollocks and make it the game you want rather than accepting what you think it can give. ?

This is the new hot suff!

Works as good as the SNPCOM but with 150 Outfits and more.

Also no need to start a dialog, just cast them naked.

DD compatible if you have the keys!

Delete the underlying NPC Outfits to prevent them to get reapplied.

Give you custom outfits names! No more slaves that look like rubber dolls if you choose the wrong outfit.

Mess your game up by wrongly apply outfits to a whole faction or race!

If you use it wrongly-right you can even get all your NPCs naked too muwhhahahah!

Yes! It just rocks your socks off!!!

Skyim => Still evolving after all that eons of mods ?

⚠️Mod still gets regular updates, because it rather new. Works great on my setup so far. Gets constantly better like NFF.⚠️

I understand what you're saying.

That said, this is what I want.  I like it as the vanilla mess that it is.  It's not about what I think it can give.  My computer is relatively new and could probably run a hell of a beautiful skyrim.  Maybe someday I'll try to experiment with ENB more.  But for now, the graphics are what I want them to be.

I was referring to the image of the guards with their thumbs in the air.

Oh.  Makes sense.  I'm giving the mod a try but having a hard time getting the nude outfit to work.  How do I set that up?
