Zeratulxxx Posted September 18, 2019 Posted September 18, 2019 I'm considering getting the Sims 4, with the intent to play with bondage themed mods, but I haven't played any Sims game in a very long time, so I have no idea where to start and EA's asking price is more than a little concerning. I generally have no idea which packs are worth getting, particularly in regards to how well they work with the various mods, or what's considered a good deal on them. Since it doesn't seem to have come up in several years, I figured it might be worth creating a thread asking for advice. So, any recommendations?
FauxFurry Posted September 18, 2019 Posted September 18, 2019 The expansions and stuff packs with the most adult mod content built around them seems to be Get Together, Get to Work, Backyard Stuff pack, Cats & Dogs and Vampires.
deathbywesker Posted September 18, 2019 Posted September 18, 2019 If your trying to save $$$, I would wait till origin has a sale on the game and expansion packs/game packs.
Mariana Soprano Posted September 18, 2019 Posted September 18, 2019 If you ask me, I would start (again) with the basegame at a sale and I would take a look at some screenshots of adult gaming (you need Turbodrivers Wicked Whims Mod to use the stuff / animations in game). You will find out, what you like and need for your gameplay (I guess Vampires is a must have for BDSM) https://wickedwhimsmod.com/download/ https://wickedwhimsmod.com/extra-download Sims 4 - ladies Sims 4 gents BDSM examples https://noiranddarksims-adultworld.blogspot.com/2017/05/ts4-accessory-bondage.html?zx=b360b17bc8409405

Hey, Ill probably be best able to answer you since I just got back into Sims recently and just using the base game with no xpacs and all that good stuff. First - if you're just looking for the minimal bang for your buck so to speak. 1.) Get base game, wait till a sale and pick it up for 10 bucks or less. 2.) Essential Mods (free) - MC, Whicked Whims, Nisa Perversions (plus all the animation packages, etc). From there, go to Sacrificial homepage, grab what you want there - judging by your taste, you will want Hoe It Up, Passionate Romance, Extreme Violence, and a few others listed there. And Basemental Mod (Just going off of memory here) 3.) From there, you can grab lots (homes) that are already designed with minimal CC or expansion content to fill out your place. Like I have a Pimp house that someone made, strip club, etc. Same with sims already designed - TSR has a nice collection of done up Sims that you can grab. 4.) The bondage stuff - all part of the objects and animation packages that youll end up grabbing when you're grabbing the animation packs. 5.) Someone mentioned a few packs that you should look into (Get to Work, etc), I agree, not so sure about Vampires and what not. But a few of the other packs add extra kinks to the game so to speak but if you're looking at best bang for your buck, you can stick with the base game for now, plus all the mods/etc that's geared for it. So what would that all give you - you would get sex acts, hookers, drug use, stripper poles, lap dances, bondage devices, bondage animations, etc. From there, you can grab what you want to fill in the pieces so to speak - different aspirations (like nympho) or traits, etc. Combine all the clothing, objects that you can download for your typical Sim and add all of this additional stuff and probably some crap that I'm omitting, youll have more than enough to keep you busy until you decide down the road to keep playing and get a pack or two while on special or you'll have played yourself out of the game (you know, just grow tired of it and move on to something else) Hope that helps.
Zeratulxxx Posted September 22, 2019 Author Posted September 22, 2019 Wow.That was more of a response and a much faster response than I was expecting. Thank you everyone. I wasn't sure how low the base game would go on sale, so it was hard to judge if something like the build a bundle or a few months of Access would be a good deal. Now I have a much better reference point. Also, thanks for mentioning this. I might not have found them on my own and they do seem to have some interesting stuff. That said, I can't seem to find descriptions for most of the mods, outside of the update notes a few of them have. Am I missing something?

That said, I can't seem to find descriptions for most of the mods, outside of the update notes a few of them have. Am I missing something? No prob - go to google, look up Sims 4 CD Keys. You'll get a few legit websites that sell CD keys - if you sign up for one of those websites, usually your first purchase might get a discount like for 10 to 15%, also those sites tend to give a list at who is offering at what price so you can shop around and look for the best price. Because it's EA and on Origin, you're kinda limited but good to know for other computer games. Once you get a CD Key, go to Origin, and punch in the code, then begin your download (all legit). Now that crap is out of the way - As for the descriptions/details for Sacrificial's Mods - yeah they suck in terms of giving you details as to what exactly they do. I'll try to give you a brief description of the ones I got and ones that I know of. Passionate Romance - adds an extra option when you click on a Sim during interaction, like you have Friendly, Romance and now Passionate Romance - increase your relationship between two sims and unlock additional interactions like making out, etc. Extreme Violence - Basically allows you to murder or badly hurt Sims. Hoe It Up - gives you a stripper pole, allows you to do pole dancing and a few other features. Slow Dancing - adds Slow Dancing to Passionate Romance (plus make out and embrace) Romantic Stargaze - adds Stargazing to Passionate Romance Sims Torment - similar to Extreme Violence but you can have sims get hit by lightning, etc. I believe this just hurts them, doesn't kill. Armageddon - I have this one, havent tried it yet - seems to be you can be a super hero or super villian. Path of Legends (under Kyutso Download up top) - allows you to study how to use a Katana or sword - i have it, havent tried it. Life Manager (Under Sacrificial Downloads up top) - allows you to manage sims (i.e. - like you want your maid to focus on just house cleaning and not to socialize at all, you can set it up that way) Road to Fame - another one I have, haven't tried - seems to be you try to become famous (like a celebrity) Cursed Painting - I don't have. I imagine some evil painting with interactions to it. Torture and Chaos - I don't have. i imagine it would be similar to Sim Torment/Extreme Violence. Possessed Child - I don't have. I would guess it has to deal with some possessed kid, your own or someone elses no idea. Deadly Toddler - Don't have. Imagine similar to possessed child. Zombie - Don't have. No idea, maybe introduce zombies? Life Drama - I can't recall. I believe it might produce daily events that your sims can respond too. (like a couple fighting outside) Haunted Mirror - dont have. Imagine same as cursed Painting but with a mirror? Hope that helps - all the ones I got from Sacrificial are done well. Worst case, if you don't like, just remove later. Cheers.

My beginning with the Sims 4 was just the base game + the Cats & Dogs expansion (the bundle was just 30 Euro) , I have played over 6 months without buying more stuff . Now I got almost all of the DLC's , but even now after over 2 years I spend most of the time in Newcrest (a base game world) . To have more fun with the game I would suggest you to download a lot of Custom Content you can find a lot at the : TheSimsResource website and best thing you can download all the custom content on that site for free . ^^ The [Kijiko] eyelashes are very important , you can get all versions for toddlers , kids and adult Sims on the website of Kijiko .

Agreed. There are some creators like Kijiko that everyone uses. Madlen seems to be shoe expert. But we're getting ahead of ourselves lol

Hope you read the descriptions always carefully - not found - sorry who mentioned it, should be help out - not to leed someone into an update trap ? Do not use mods without the needed description / updates or something which is mentioned by a user who does not use it. I guess, some like to lead you to mods which they do not try / use themself. So they may look innocent, if you got problems (updates / fixes). Click on that member and take a look at the postings and if you really like to trust the ideas. If you just can walk - are you fit enough for a marathon? Good luck! Btw. I ve learned to run step by step.
