One character locking into pose?

Just want to know if this is an AAF issue or the particular animation pack issue? There are times, especially when called by an event mod (MCG, SEU, Vanilla Fudge, etc.) when one character will keep their weapon cocked during the first sex pose, then not change over to another sex pose, when prompted. Even if there are no weapons involved, this will happen about 25% of the time. My character changes up for each new pose, but at least one partner does not..

Not that it helps but this is the third post reporting this issue that i have seen. Have you updated any animation pack's? If so try reverting back to last version and see if the problem persists.

It has been an ongoing issue, no matter which animation pack. I do not want to say its AAF, yet. Most of the fails show the other guy that is called on for sex, equiping a weapon ,showing it in the first pose and then not moving on to the next one.

Hmm well AAF is in charge of undressing and dressing but I have not seen this happen in a basic test setup yet. I must admit that my test bench is not the latest AAF version nor is my Theme's.

I haven't seen this happen. It sounds related to engaging actors that may be in some kind of a combat alert state. So, most likely, starting animations among hostile characters so that they somehow break out of the passive package AAF uses because some enemy is looking at them funny.

Hate to answer this, since we now have multiple posts about this from different folks, but this has happened in Diamond City with no threat. Example, Diamond City Security is prompted by Vanilla Fudge, MCG, Shenanigans and sometimes the Home key to engage in sex. They will either equipe their weapon or hold their weapon during first position. They lock up for any pose afterward even as we are able to change the animation manually..

i have seen this too but too me it only happens with companions whenever i have weapon out this bug occur. companions mimmic player so if player has weapon out so will companion so when this happens 1 character will be able to switch from animations while the other is stuck with the animations she was started with . you can shuffle correctly but only 1 character will shuffle while the other is stuck with the first animation.

 

if the player lower his weapon before npc is started with AAF then both actors will shuffle correctly when you switch to different one.

Thank you! This helped me reproduce and fix the issue.

My situation happens if npc has weapon out such as Diamond City guards. Random sex called by other mods will cause them to keep their weapon or enable their weapon, which will kill any pose change. Even tried removing their weapons, but somehow they find another. Had it happen with multiple sex partner animations, no weapons involved, where I set up the scene per Home key, etc.
