KrypticvSmG Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 I have no idea why but I have the real version of Skyrim SE and it's telling me that I am not the owner? I've had this game in my library for years and I need help solving this solution.
CTayls Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 The only thing i can think of is you not being signed into steam. Or you have the original skyrims FNIS
27X Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 log into steam run the skyrim launcher once never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever install anything you actually give a shit about in program files; that includes steam, any game, any app that uses metadata or streaming content, or any app that requires multiple access permission like FNIS. ever.
悲しい少王女 Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 But that's a warning not an error isn't it. I got it too and it only means that the author hates you but that is fine fnis runs normally and works properly. I usually ignore warnings until something happens so xd
KrypticvSmG Posted September 7, 2019 Author Posted September 7, 2019 I'm still getting the same warning message and when I get into the game start new or load I'm T-Posed...
KrypticvSmG Posted September 7, 2019 Author Posted September 7, 2019 Here are the mods im using. I'm using LOOT to sort them into a load order https://imgur.com/a/yPHaiJN
悲しい少王女 Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 That warning has nothing to do with your t posing, as I said I get it too and mine works fine so the problem lies somewhere else. EDIT: I have no experience with nmm so I have no idea if you are running fnis properly but make sure I suppose. Can't help more than that I'm afraid.
Grey Cloud Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 And did you follow the instructions that FNIS gives you to remove the warning? Did you follow the instructions which @27X gave you in post #3?
AncientGuardian00 Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 First, make sure you have FNIS for Skyrim SE. If you are using Mod Organizer, you must install FNIS, FNIS Creatures, and FNIS Spells. Install each one through Mod Organizer (which for Creatures and Spells, it will tell you that MO does not recognize the file tree. All you do is right-click "Data" and set it as the Data Directory.) Do NOT replace FNIS when installing Creatures and Spells. Rename Creatures and Spells as separate mods. Next, you must make FNIS run as an Executable from your Mod Organizer. If FNIS installed into your Data folder in Skyrim, DO NOT use this. You will get the error stating that your version of Skyrim is not legal. Even if you run FNIS as an administrator and run Skyrim through Steam, it does not fix anything. In order to make FNIS work, type in your search bar (if you have Windows) and search for "Run". Open up your "Run" app and type in appdata. Once the folder opens, go to Local -> ModOrganizer -> SkyrimSE -> mods -> FNIS -> tools -> GenerateFNIS_for_Users In here, you should find GenerateFNIS_for_Users.exe, which is the executable you want to run. Right click the executable, and go to Properties. Copy the location of the file (because I have not found a way to search for it other than this way). Mine is C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\ModOrganizer\Skyrim SE\mods Copy this location (it may look different for you, so do not copy mine). Once you copy this, go to Mod Organizer. Click the Green and blue gear towards the top. Press + and add new executable from empty. A new window will pop up, and under Binary, paste the location that you copied, and press the 3 dots to the right of "Binary". This should be able to open up you AppData folder to find the GenerateFNIS_for_Users.exe. Click the executable and press "Open". Then under Binary there is "Start in". Click the 3 dots to the right of "Start in" and look for your Skyrim Special Edition folder. Have it open in your drive location (mine is C). It should look like this: C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition Again, this is what mine looks like, and it may not be the same for you. Do NOT install Skyrim SE in Program Files or Program Files (x86). If you did do this, there is an easy way to move your Steam Library out of Program Files. Gamer Poets has a great video on YouTube on how to do this (very easily). I hope this helps. This should do away with all stiff T/A posing and the Generator issues.
