I would still ask you to try, if the mod author is agreeable, to get the NPC file for the face and a list of all mods upon which the face is dependent. I can try without it but I could make absolutely no guarantee of the results.

The readme lists everything used (assuming it is accurate), so now all you have to do is supply the two or more hours it will take to make a fair recreation so that this guy doesn't have to bother. Because, you know, its your job to make his Skyrim experience everything it can be. For free, of course. But hey, its a challenge, right?

tweetbotter Posted September 4, 2019 Posted September 4, 2019 Why not just find a follower you like on Skyrim, then use NPC Visual Transfer Tool?

If this is the case, then it should not be hard, to use these files for a follower.

I have never reproduced a face with just those files, however. If you can tell me how it is done I can certainly do the rest of the follower.

Yeah, I've seen it before. She's quite lovely. Well, I'll leave this here if someone else can tell me. Otherwise, I may try what I found on the net that suggested loading the mod and make a duplicate of Serana and using that duplicate, with its meshes and textures, to make the follower. The problem that I foresee with that is that Serana is a very complex character woven into all sorts of quests and separating on those unique parts from "just" a follower might be an issue (and then again it might not since the game (including the DLC) will be looking for the unique Serana with her ID, not her face). Even if it works I'll still have all the usual issues with a follower: what race to use (Serana is a NordVampire - I had to look it up); if the standalone is a vampire she won't be able to turn back like Serana can what to name her what equipment to give her how do I want her to level up (with the player surely but with what min and max level) do I leave her as a necromancer or change her type of fighting, etc. etc.
