Hello everyone! First of all thanks for anyone trying to help in advance, english is not my native language so sorry for any grammar issues.

My pc specs:

Processor: Amd Ryzen5 1400 Quad-core

Ram: 8GB

Grapic card: GeForce GTX 1060 3gb

And I have win10

The problem that I have that I literally have no fps, not even on the character creation menu. Even my cursor is barely moving, as I move it around its moves away like every 3 secounds, so I cant evne make a character. I don't have any mods installed , and I tried to play around with the game settings to see if it works and edit the inni file, but nothing is working for me. Does anybody have the same problem and know a fix to this ? I'm really pissed of that I cant play this game anymore :/

Do you have the DirectX  9  files you need ?

Hope your game is NOT in C : programfiles (x86)

Read https://www.loverslab.com/topic/36443-oblivion-install-gametoolsbodiesbbb-load-order-sorting-espesm-cleaning-cs-cse-body-stretching/

Yeah, I tried to get that DirectX 9 already :/

And Its in D: programfiles (x86)/steam/..... Its installed to my default steam folder. If that can be the problem I will try to reintall it to somewhere else. I remember I had similar problem with nexusmodmanager some time ago that it was the programfiles folder and I couldnt launch it from there.

D : programfiles (x86)/steam/    ????   D ?   D is OK , but in D you normally do not have a programfiles (x86)  folder.

And Nexus Mod manager: NEVER for Oblivion. It is ok for Skyrim , but not Oblivion !!!!

Read my link I posted above . The step by step Oblivion installations

If it's on the D drive, it's situational. Is D actually your homedrive because of multibooting, etc? Or did you simply create the same name folder in your D drive to save C drive space?

The usual "C:\Program Files (x86)" directory has a special security setting that prevents unauthorized principals from tampering the contents (including not-admin yourself, yikes), and such setting is inherited to all subfolders within. If your case is the latter (you just created the folder with the same name) then it might be ok.

If you need to be more certain, do powershell

ls env:programfiles`(x86`)

You can change steam install folder D:/steam | properties -> move files -> make new or use existing one outside x86

That can solve half of the problems and there is one tool that prevents bsa's getting updated after sessions. Oblivion likes old numbers. (someone else can link it)

thats.. 33% crash potential remaining and now its all about.. anything really.

I managed to install the media pack for my windows finally, and since then my oblivion finally works, so I guess I was missing something from that. Thanks everyone that was here to help.
