ThatAlienBunny Posted August 26, 2019 Posted August 26, 2019 So, this is my first CC. Somewhere I missed up. I followed this tutorial but I know somewhere I did something wrong.  I used blender, photoshop elements 8 (with the nvidia extension), and sims4studio. SAI was also used just to make base. I also only have the base game.  I have a blender file made the uv map made the bump map (dds and png) made the specular map and mask (background for mask is black)  I left shadow blank because it was giving me black pixels within the inner thigh. Though I'm not sure if that's the part that's messing this up. Thank you for any help
procian Posted August 26, 2019 Posted August 26, 2019 Broken cc swimwear....delete it..... It's been made using a skintight mesh by the look of it... Â
simdulgence Posted August 26, 2019 Posted August 26, 2019 Looks like a specular or bump map issue. You should share your package if you want help, so people can look at the files. Also the black pixels from the shadow map should go away if you make the shadow map background white, not transparent.
ThatAlienBunny Posted August 26, 2019 Author Posted August 26, 2019 I think all is correct. I made it with the base game blue and black speedo. Here's the package file. I'll restart from scratch if needed.  RoseSling.package
ThatAlienBunny Posted August 27, 2019 Author Posted August 27, 2019 So I added the shadow map something started glowing on his leg. Yeah. Except for my textures I'm going to start over. It's a learning experience.
Vthena Posted August 28, 2019 Posted August 28, 2019 I'm new to CC making, I checked your package but I don't see what could be causing the issue. I suggest testing your mesh with a basic texture (single color) to see if it show up correctly in game before putting too much work in the texture itself, of the different maps. Going step by step will help to pinpoint the issue.
Julie J Posted August 31, 2019 Posted August 31, 2019 I'd start by having a blank shadow, specular and bump maps. Your texture will look a bit flat but there won't be anything shiny stuff on the legs etc
