How is it fucked up and explain what you have done this far. As far as knowing how to do it its really easy.

the textures keep getting effed up when i try to edit the mesh

Step 1.

Open your clothing nif into os.

Step 2.

Use your chosen body type as the referance body and load it into OS via the load reference.

Step 3.

Unselect with the eye icon everything shape but referance body that you only half click meaning wire frame it and full eye on the base clothing body.

Step 4.

Use sliders to adjust reference body to closely resemble the base clothing body.

Step5.

Only for the experienced use any tool to finish getting reference body to resemble the base clothing body.

Step 6.

Under file pick make conversion reference and name it as it will replace all sliders with just that one.

Step 7.

Check the pencil box turning it purple. Open sliders and choose properties on the very bottom. This opens up a box were you see default values. On high it is 100 make it -100 instead.

Step 8.

Go ahead and under sliders menu pick conform all. Now delete your referance body and after reload it again. Exept this time you will want to check the merge new sliders with existing sliders.

Step 9.

Again conform all.

Now you should have 1 slider that will be able to take all the clothing mods that used that body shape into your preferred shape easy by just loading the results of this 1 project and  conform all.

Hope this helped if you get stuck please just say.

Hey theres big chunk of the armor where the body is coming through and any trim i try to fix it the texture problems start happing again

And can you use the sliders you think.

First thing delete the slider info on just the armor so just the body moves with sliders then you just adjust a few things tell it's not bleaching through.

Step 1.

Highlight only the armor and from slider menu dropdown pick clear slider data. Now your ready to move sliders so clipping is gone.

Step 2.

Once finished you simply right click on body and pick set reference and make sure the name is highlighted in green. If it was skip that part and just to let you know you can not tell its grean if its highlighted still.

Step 3.

Now that its highlighted in grean and selected simply open sliders and pick conform all.

Dont forget to save and close OS and reopen before any bone or weight paint affects can be exported from OS ok and also rember OS needs to have a skeleton loaded with every new bone you have in nif or it fucks up. You can still fix it by grabbing every new bone you make and adding them one at a time to the working OS skeleton. I just copy pasted my games skeleton and named it that and every project I need to make new bones I after adding the bones straight from the fucked up nif into the skeleton the just save as and rename it to that project then load it into OS and load my fucked project doing nothing but resaveing it then if I want to export from OS directly then I close OS and reload my project so all affects have taken place or usually I use BS to make bodies. Any ways have fun.
