3022321 Posted July 31, 2019 Posted July 31, 2019 Ok so I have been going through so much of forums and mods on here for the past 2 weeks. With trial and error I got it like 90% working. I just installed several new mods and it started to crash when I start a new game (I will figure it out later on why and how) but my real question is that my MCM has just so many mods its over whelming. I have played a little here and there while testing and running things. I have thoroughly gone through the settings so I have a good general idea of how to set up what I want. But here is the issue. I need to slim it down so its not complicated and basically simplify my MCM so I know what mods should be prioritized for what. I have gone through all the main pages for the mods for conflicts this and update that but honestly after so many mods its getting hard. For instance, I have SL Defeat, Alternative death, and Cursed Loot. In the MCM I leave SLD and AD disabled. I cant remember off the top of my head but I think its DDI? One of the devious devices has animation override and so does Zaz, what should I let run the show? Or sometimes I would be in the middle of something like a dialogue or scene and I would be forced into something else in the middle, I didnt crash but it was getting annoying. I fiddled with a lot of the MCM settings to try and fix my issues but that caused more issues because I didn't know what I should prioritize. Basically I just have too much going off all at once. I want to minimize this by shedding some mods without losing content if that makes sense? Install only what you actually need and understand. Make sure that game is stable (play to level 10 or so). Then and only then should you add more. Trying to fix it once you've murdered it is way harder than building up from something stable.

I also think it would help if, besides telling us that you want to thin things out, you give us an idea of what your priorities are. For instance, Mia's Lair is an excellent mod but it is also pretty all-consuming. I would be likely to play it and say, Defeat, at the same time. I would say the same for Captured Dreams. I would tend to say the same for Paradise Halls, although not quite as strongly. Heretical Resources is mostly included in ZAP and the newer DD material so you can dump it. You have SexLab Nude Creatures in your load order which means you have an old version of MoreNastyCritters (MNC). This version is prone to CTD and you need to update yours. If you have Puppet Master make sure you have the patch (the link can be found in DeepBlusFrog's signature; the mod is useful patches or something like that). In short, go back to the advice you were already given. Get your load order down to the 50-100 mods that you just can't live without and, if it's still broken, ask again.

I normally use Presets for characters too and some use other hair mods. I never make my own character, I just tweak presets. My load order is a mess because I just butchered my game just before posting this. However before I went through the effort of reorganizing and fixing it up so I could play again, I wanted to get advice. I dont have a preference, I just want what will work best with the mods when it comes to alignment/outfits. I want to have physics that work properly with the body type and outfits for these mods so is there anything specific I need or am missing? I want slaves who I can buy and sell so what mod should I use? Also if I want a player house with all the bells and whistles what would you suggest? If I want to use the full potential of strictly using Cursed Loot, aside from integrating SD+ and Estrus what else(if any) mods should I add? Should I use SL Defeat over the integrated Cursed Loot defeat? I dont really care much for quest based mods but I like the idea and concept of S.L.U.T.S so if I want Pony based content what mod should I use? I want piercings but they never align properly and even when I follow advice and forums the nipple piercings always hover an inch off the tits but are accurately aligned. I tried using bodyslider to get things to work and I keep having issues. I have gone through dozens of youtube videos and forums following the steps and still have issues. Please link me a surefire way to use bodyslider because I just cant figure it out. I want to use most outfits and items for DD content, this is my goal. And depending on the body type what do I use to have animations properly aligned? most of the time they align no problem but if you have something to make it simple and fool proof let me know. If you give me a link to a "general forum" I am just gonna get lost. (I am looking for accuracy and collision physics for MNC and Animations) Lastly using UIextension for me is a nightmare, I cant figure it out. I can't find a helpful forum or guide to getting the UIwheel working. My english is poor, my primary language is Hsiang chinese which is a local dialect from my home province. I have difficulty browsing the forum and downloads to find exactly what I am looking for to the extent of giving up and posting because so many things are scattered or old/revamped ect ect. If I am posting in the wrong place or doing something wrong forum wise please politely let me know. I am not looking for someone to just say "Here is "General link" go find it yourself" I am here for direct help.
dje34 Posted July 31, 2019 Posted July 31, 2019 Hmmmm.... Well you should start by choosing UNP or CBBE. Try both, see what tools and tweaks they offer, see how it works on your computer and your game. I prefer using CBBE, but the tools are hard to understand at first. And choose and use 150 mods top, I highly recommend not going above 150 mods, and even 150 is high. Better use 100 top. And I highly recommend you use STABLE mods, meaning latest versions and popular enough to have been updated enough. I used mods uploaded only once with no update and it worked but eventually it caused too many problems so I had to start from scratch. It was funny enough to worth the start from scratch. xD But if you want a modded game you can play to the very end, use STABLE mods.

So please tell me what you can. What I will use for the start is all the DD/Cursed Loot. Zaz animation MNC Should I use UNP or CBBE? I tried to figure out which one is better for these mods but I keep seeing two different sides. One post was talking about how everything on here was made using the CBBE body but I see a lot of people and posts saying UNP is better for these mods? I dont have a preference, I just want what will work best with the mods when it comes to alignment/outfits. I want to have physics that work properly with the body type and outfits for these mods so is there anything specific I need or am missing? I want slaves who I can buy and sell so what mod should I use? Also if I want a player house with all the bells and whistles what would you suggest? If I want to use the full potential of strictly using Cursed Loot, aside from integrating SD+ and Estrus what else(if any) mods should I add? Should I use SL Defeat over the integrated Cursed Loot defeat? I dont really care much for quest based mods but I like the idea and concept of S.L.U.T.S so if I want Pony based content what mod should I use? I want piercings but they never align properly and even when I follow advice and forums the nipple piercings always hover an inch off the tits but are accurately aligned. I tried using bodyslider to get things to work and I keep having issues. I have gone through dozens of youtube videos and forums following the steps and still have issues. Please link me a surefire way to use bodyslider because I just cant figure it out. I want to use most outfits and items for DD content, this is my goal. And depending on the body type what do I use to have animations properly aligned? most of the time they align no problem but if you have something to make it simple and fool proof let me know. If you give me a link to a "general forum" I am just gonna get lost. (I am looking for accuracy and collision physics for MNC and Animations) Lastly using UIextension for me is a nightmare, I cant figure it out. I can't find a helpful forum or guide to getting the UIwheel working. My english is poor, my primary language is Hsiang chinese which is a local dialect from my home province. I have difficulty browsing the forum and downloads to find exactly what I am looking for to the extent of giving up and posting because so many things are scattered or old/revamped ect ect. If I am posting in the wrong place or doing something wrong forum wise please politely let me know. I am not looking for someone to just say "Here is "General link" go find it yourself" I am here for direct help. Good, questions I can answer. Body type is a matter of preference exclusively. CBBE is more realistic, UUNP is more voluptuous. You can adjust one to look much like the other with Bodyslide. There are more armors for CBBE but there are threads here on LL and elsewhere dedicated strictly to changing one set to the other. C5Kev has a thread (if he hasn't taken it down) giving you a "how-to" for doing it yourself. Physics is it's own issue. Both bodies support and and do so in the same way so that also makes no difference. There are guides here on LL and elsewhere for dealing with physics if you have any problems. Since you are playing Skyrim LE you will want HDT physics (found on Nexus). Just follow the directions. Paradise Halls Enhanced for slaves. But rather than reinvent the wheel. Here is my answer from a thread about this from yesterday: While you can integrate Cursed Loot with SD+ and Chaurus I would recommend against it. They are all script heavy mods that aren't designed to integrate. I think you might find that Prison Overhaul Patched (POP) works better for that. SL Defeat is a highly thought of mod. I would, once again, recommend using it with Cursed Loot. All the mods you've mentioned that I've suggested against are good mods, just not the best idea to use with Cursed Loot or other script heavy mods. There is only one working ponygirl mod and that is SLUTS. Don't waste your time with any other one. Your question about piercing and Bodyslide run together. You need to make certain that any piercings that you want to use go with the body you are going to be using. This needs to be as specific as possible. So, for instance, I use CBBE HDT. My piercings are for CBBE HDT, not CBBE, not UUNP. If you want them where they belong you have to find the right ones. Using Bodyslide (for your purposes) is actually simple. Go into Bodyslide and tick all the boxes for all the possible armors that you have loaded including DD and Unassigned. The choose your body and build it with the sliders. Then click race morphs (assuming that you have TaceMenu loaded). Finally hit Batch Build in the lower left hand corner. You're done. Not to toot my own horn but here is another thread I've done recently that contains some relevant pictures: Some animations simply don't align properly. I have found the simplest solution with the worst ones is to tick them off in SexLab (the McMenu allows you to do that). With others that are close I use the hotkeys (also found in the McMenu) to align the animations. Those changes are "remembered" by SexLab throughout the game. So once you've done it you won't have to do it again EXCEPT that they are also race based. So if you use the hotkeys when having sex with a Redguard the animation that you fixed with the hotkeys is permanently fixed for Redguards - but not Bretons, Altmer, etc. You have to do it once with each race with each animation. It turns out that it's not as bad as it sounds. Just make a note of the hotkeys from the McMenu so that you can apply them as the animation is going on. If you want to use MNC make certain that you have loaded the FNIS Creature animations and that you "allow creatures" in the SexLab McMenu. Failure to do one or the other of these is the most common reason for the animations to not work. You don't actually have to use the wheel for anything in these mods. Evidently some of the code is what's needed to make them work. Of course, if you really WANT to play with it you might want to get Extensible Follower Framework from Nexus (I'm just kidding).
