Hi there! I updated Sims 4 and re-installed both Basemental and Wicked Perversions but I keep getting this pop-up in-game about an error with this .txt doc. Is there anything that can be done to fix this?

Hi I’m trying to run your mod after the July 23 2024 update and I keep on getting a last exception from basemental? 
I have updated all of my mods since the update, everything was fine, downloaded your mod and this is the only one I can’t seem to figure out.

Looks like Nisa has been updated as of yesterday.

 

ETA:  No more problems with Nisa.  However, the game itself might have been broken by EA since the last update, with sims acting strangely (yelling for no reason etc.).

Wicked Whims has not been updated yet. Please remove it from your game, and you'll likely solve your problem.

I keep getting Nisa LE pop ups in the game, I tried checking it to see what I need to replace and I can't find anything. I had already updated all mods and the game itself....

Can you upload the actual last exception report, not the mod exception? The LE gives more detailed information.

Yes, this is what I was talking about. It looks like you have a very old version of Wicked Whims, you need to update to the latest version 181b. Nisa's Wick Perversions also needs to be updated. It looks like you need to update your mods from what I'm seeing. You are playing with the latest version of the game, but not the updated mods, which can create game-breaking conflict.

I have the version 181b but when it runs the game it says I am running 179b..... I cannot find that version anywhere, I even went through every single mod of mine and It keeps saying I need to update the wicked perversions even though I already have.

You might need to pull Wicked Whims out, delete the localthumbcache, restart the computer, repair the game, then restart the computer again. I don't know if two restarts are necessary, but it seems right; and download the mod again and see if that work.

I just tried this and I'm still getting a "Nisa Error", It also still says that I have v179 of WW. It also keeps saying I need to update the Wicked P, even though I already have.....

What game version does your documents folder say you have? I wonder if the game version itself did not update. 

 

These are the current versions after the 7/25 update:

PC: 1.108.329.1020 / Mac: 1.108.329.1220

"If you have updated but it is not showing the correct game version, delete the GameVersion. txt file, restart the game, and all will be corrected."

HAHAHAHA I just fixed it...... I found the problem..... I had to go through my icloud on my mac and do a thorough clean.
