Atros04 Posted July 16, 2019 Posted July 16, 2019 I just got into this type of modding for skyrim and am encountering issues with any type of horse intercourse. Background: I am on Skyrim SE (latest patch) All mods are up to date with patch FINS is updated and running all the animations correctly Using MO2 Load Order: SexLab SexLab Aroused Creature Framework SkyUI Ui Extensions FNIS SexLab Tools MNC SLAL HCoS SL More Creatures SL Aroused Creatures SoS JContainers My Issue: Well, horses are causing the game to CTD. Sometimes, I get the preload animations (where the character is idling), then the game crashes. Sometimes I get pursued and caught by a horse and the game crashes. It seems to be random in the crashes, but it has been strictly horses. What I have tried: Deleting the horse skeleton as suggested by MNC creator Installing ABC (But HDT-PE is only available for LE, so ABC is not working) For now, I am just going to disable horses as a whole because troubleshooting is getting further down a rabbit hole. Unless I am missing a glaring fuck up in my load order, I am having trouble finding the issue.
Aylis Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 If that is 'More Nasty Creatures' then simply installing a patch for the horses might solve that. Check the group 'LL' in the modlist of my thread:

I was reading the description and is seems to me that the higher the number assigned to the mod, the more priority it had.

First, thank you for referring me to your guide, that horse fix for SE worked and it would have taken me forever to find it. I also readjusted my order to go top to bottom again and things seem to be stable for now. I will keep monitoring it and see if I done goofed anywhere else.
meow777 Posted November 10, 2019 Posted November 10, 2019 Im getting CTD too and deleting the HKX and the horse fix patch both arent working to solve the issue.

mamajmbros Posted January 23, 2020 Posted January 23, 2020 same problem here whats the name for the horse patch ?
fennec Posted January 28, 2020 Posted January 28, 2020 I have the same issue and think I just resolved it for me at least. I narrows the crash down to MoreNastyCritters_v12_01 and Creature Framework 1.1.0-pre2A-SE. (they work together) It worked again for me when I uninstalled Creature Framework 1.1.0-pre2A-SE. and reverted to the slightly older Creature Framework 1.1.0-pre2-SE. Sadly that's as good as I can suggest, I don't have the ability to look into both mods and see what is causing the issue.

(I seldom test horse, usually not make horse as sex actor,,) btw I use MNC v 12_01 packed version. so not use Creature Framework 1.1.0-pre2A-SE, . then may try your suggestion, if 1.1.0-pre2-SE CF . solve the issue. (though I really do not hope to change CF version,,? it easy cause issue, with curent game data,,then need to set-up for test,,, ) and if it is right,, maybe CF up-date log help to find reason. or I may ask the author, what change about horse.
KillZone009 Posted November 15, 2020 Posted November 15, 2020 Just wondering if some one can help me with the same Issue of the Horse Animation, when it's about to start the Horse causes my game to CTD and i've removed the 3 skeletons for the horse, 1 that was in the Horse folder then tried the Game and crashed when animations was about so i restored the Skeleton from the Horse Folder and then i Deleted the Slimhorse and Warhorse at the same time and game crashed again while it was about to start. So I restored the Skeletons, I did run FNIS both times when making the changed. I get the feeling that it might be caused by the SOS Mods that i installed but not really sure since everything works but the Horse Animation does not when they are about to do their thing. So i'm out of any clue as to what might be causing the Game to Crash when the Horse Ani starts. They did used to work before but that was before i Installed SOS a few Months ago i think.
KillZone009 Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 I Managed to fix the issue with the Horse Animation that was causing the game to CTD when it started and here is what i did to solve the issue, 1. Uninstalled FNIS Creature Pack & then the FNIS Behavior, then i wen't into the Tool's Folder in Skyrim Special Edition and Deleted the Folders inside the Tool's Directory. 2. Uninstalled More Nasty Critters & then Downloaded the Latest version for it that is Skyrim SE MoreNastyCritters v12.5 SE 3. Uninstalled Skyrim SE Creature Framework Once that was done i Installed in the Following Order : 1. Install FNIS Behavior SE v7.6 & then FNIS Creature Pack SE v7.6 https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/3038?tab=files , ( Make sure to run FNIS Behavior SE 7.6 first before Installing FNIS Creature Pack SE 7.6 ) 2. Install More Nasty Critters v12.5 SE Make sure to Override everything when installing More Nasty Critters v12.5 SE. 3. Install Skyrim SE Creature Framework v1.1.0 pre2A SE. 4. Once it's all been installed, run FNIS & have the "Skeleton Arm Fix" Check Box Enabled & run it like you normally would. once that is done then you can go into the game and wait a few seconds after the game has loaded and see if the Horse Animations work normally for you. ( Everything worked for me once i did this & i Tested it out also to make sure that it worked before Posting this here to see if it will help others solve this issue as well )

I stopped telling this, because I always ran into discussions about 'XPMS always comes last' every time...
CreepingChuck Posted March 13, 2021 Posted March 13, 2021 Hey I found a super easy fix that worked for my game (stopped the crashing when a horse animation played) if your using vortex right click on the morenastycritters mod and select manage file conflicts go all the way to the bottom of the list and change scripts- slalLoader.pex to morenastycritters Source- SlalLoader.psc to morenastycritters Then scroll up and change Horse- Character assets- Skeleton.nif to morenastycritters Skeleton.hkx to morenastycritters Then save and quit vortex and update FINIS. This fixed my crashing, I hope it dose the same for anyone else!
