They took it off the nexus because since day one you aren't allowed to use copyrighted material somebody else owns the rights to promote your mods, and that has nothing to do with morality and everything to do with MONEY, and probably something you should consider the next time you promote a mod using other people's work, including here. You can argue your photochop is 'transformative' but I sure as hell wouldn't take your case, since you were nice enough to even point out where you got your sources from.

 

As for the former, the closer you get to an actual likeness the more legal attention you're going to garner. Pretty simple. If you had half a brain in your head you'd make _____, give ______ a 100% lore friendly backstory, and never mention their actual name or likeness or anything related to them ever, because that's what people possessing common sense do. One of the most popular NPC remake mods of all time uses the rather obvious likenesses of actual people but the modder has never said anything about it ever, and thus no one cares and everybody downloads.

Hmm, this is defintly no copyright harming, because all sorts of pics are merged into a new contence and this work leads into a complete different meaning. I see this as an artwork and this file is a try to build from reality into a virtual world. Famous stars have a seldom chance to become under this sort of artwork. So you do not have to worry. The main idea is, to get this beloved model into gameplay. The pic addvertisment is very well made and is causing interest.

Exactly..i want to be critized if i did imperfections reproducing the model...i posted images not to promote but to show how  i was able to reproduce lucie correctly. And i think i did great. Real lucie never alone in the photo but Always compare to skyrim avatar

It sounds like the right response should have been to report him to moderators. Especially in Nexus he would propably have been banned for good for harassing a mod author. Mod makers are respected much more, Nexus has close to 0 tolerance policy for that kind of dudes. You wouldn't have needed to ever say a single word to him, if opening post is clearly out of order.

Just saying.. rules of the Internet   Don't get stomped when you're on the high ground.
