  • change password
  • change email address

Good question!

I switched to a new email adress a few years ago, so it was possible, but I don't see the option anymore. ?

Yeah, that probably has something to do with it.

I think you'll have to go through Ashal for that one.  Sorry.

That seems a bit of a bind. Particularly if you are Ashal.

I could understand an inability to change the username if it wasn't also an email address, but email addresses are a thing people often need to change.

Not really.  Yours is the first request I have had to do this in a long, long time.

The email address you registered with is binding on your entire account, so changing it has ramifications.

Cheers,

Greg

I am interested to know what the ramifications are, due to previous advise from another post I made a new account (changing the old one's user, in order to keep it), only to find that I can't reupload my WW animations because I don't have enough posts.

Ramification was a poor word choice.  There really isn't one, aside from it taking a while to happen as Ashal is the only one that can do it and it may take him a while to get to it.

What I was trying to say is that your account hinges on your email address as part of the site security for your profile, so you can't just change it on a dime.
