Skat the Rat

 

       He's a skeever with a ruffian rattitude!

Description:

         Introduces a rambunctious talking skeever named Skat into the world. He can be found around a bridge not far South East of Riften (Results may vary between visual setup, but you might have difficulty spotting him. He's a master of camoflage!).

 

         Skat was born from a skeever and humanoid couple, and has thus been gifted with speech. His heightened intelligence and some unique combat abilities have allowed him to survive the wilds against numerous enemies and know to identify and avoid the tough ones. That is until he is one day approached by an unsuspecting "castle dweller", you the player, who manages to peek his curiosity enough to speak with him. With some unconventional convincing, you might just gain his trust and persuade him to join you on your journey, which is sure to be chock full of much "recreational" fun with Skat and his skeever pals!

 

All Gender Flavors:

            Within reason. That's male, female, and futanari/dickgirl/hermaphrodite. Skat comes with built in support for any of these three roles via the "(Options)" dialogue. Instructions are simple. When playing as a male, keep the futa option turned off (I think male dialogue won't appear if futa is turned on right now). To see female dialogue, play as a female with futa turned off. Literally the only time it should be turned on is if you are playing as a female character with a female sos addon (Penis). And that's vanilla gender, not sexlab gender.

 

Sexy Meshy Boi:

           Skat features several of my own tweaks and adjustments for the best experience. He's got his own race for all follower features. He uses the Fusa project mesh, so he's a very fwuffy boi! His penis texture has been adjusted to not be so absurdly bright, and he also uses a cleaner texture so as not to look so mangy.

 

Requirements:

             It needs all the usual stuff, ya know. Like FNIS and SKSE. Skeleton for your character. If you don't know for some reason, just follow the long trail of prerequisites.

Installation:
            Simply unzip the archive and drop the files in your skyrim folder.

 

Problems:
                PROBABLY...hopefully doesn't have any. There is a disabled incomplete quest that I couldn't figure out. Has a few other unused assets. And for the moment I am trusting that I got all the sex scripts working and didn't make any spelling mistakes. Be sure to point out any oddities.

 

Incompatibilities:

                 Skat should be compatible with everything. (However if you notice anything odd going on with your dialogue overhaul mods after installing Skat, let me know. I edited something and removed the edit afterward.)

Quick spelling note for the dialog. Should read as "I bring plague and despair, my teeth are razor sharp daggers that tear flesh from limb ... maybe IDK just a thought.

So I have all of the required mods installed, and I've found Skat under the bridge. However, he is invisible. I can interact with him, including speaking with him and colliding with him, but he is invisible and cannot be selected for console commands. Tirk and Phillip both work fine. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, that didn't work. Any ideas on what my problem might be?

After install when I finally found him, he was invisible for me as well. Save game and uninstalled mod. Unpacked BSA and repacked with no BSA file. Installed new repackaged mod and when I returned to my save game Skat was visible and fully interactive. Not sure why it would make a difference.

I'm not really THAT savvy with modding, so I've just had to learn the basics of BSA. I downloaded BSA browser, would you mind giving me a quick rundown on how to unpack and repack the file?

Warum das Rad neu erfinden. Wenn ich die benötigten Mods installiere, habe ich bereits Creaturen die mich benutzen. Er ist so ein Meister der Tarnung das man ihn nicht findet. Man kann sich das runterladen ersparen

I had the same invisible issue, Get a .bsa unpacker and unpack all the files/folders, Grab those files and folders and dump them in your skyrim directory and make sure the .bsa you extracted from isn't activated in the load order, Or just simply delete it.
Should fix it.

Sounds like Skat doesn't like the BSA route. For now downloading a BSA unpacking tool is the only solution. I will upload a loose files version when I can. Maybe tonight.

That is actually part of the Horny Creatures of Skyrim mod. It is animation specific.

The only thing I might try to do is make engaging in sex with them possible via dialogue. And I might see about revamping the spell. I'd rather it look like calling them than conjuring them.

Yeah, it isn't hard to find. The only trouble is trying to find the invisible skeever. You weren't joking when you said:

I unpacked the BSA so I should be able to see him now according to others who have done this. Will check tomorrow.

Do you think you have any plans to make Skat, Phillip and Tirk be able to recognize one another and have dialogues referencing one another? Kinda similar to some of the human companions like Inigo and Vilja?

 

Your creatures companions are the best btw.

I don't see why it wouldn't. Skat uses the default skeleton file location.
