Slow again

May be me but where I am in the uk this site is virtually unusable after midday.....get constant 501/bad gateway errors...any other uk users find this happening?

Oh yes.

Every other attempt was a 501 yesterday. Only a couple today but slow as fuck.

The site seems to be getting slower week by week. It's usually not so bad to get to the main Skyrim page but navigating between the various sections is a pain.

hey, Procian,

i believe it has something to do with the way Cloudflare handles errors returned by the server itself. these may be related to heavy traffic, chunks of data way bigger than 5MB, or even small packs of data sent repeatedly to the site that might be the work of several simultaneous attacks. since CloudFlare, according to their support, is supposed to "protect and accelerate any website online by routing their all community websites' traffic through their intelligent global network optimising the delivery of web pages," and because it's an U.S. company, something might be very rotten in the state of Cloudflare.
Grey Cloud is right; LL seems to be getting slower by the week.
i do think it has something to do with the constant attacks and excessive data traffic; as i'm writing this post there are over 7250 users online.

Yeah you're not alone in this. Having the same problems. Pages take anywhere from 20-30 seconds to load, or I get 502 Bad Gateway errors (showing LL as the one having errors).

 

It's mostly during the day/afternoon/evening time when it is slow. But late night the site runs pretty decent.

 

Don't have any solutions or anything, just wanted to add that I'm having the same issues, so you know it's not just you lol.
