Quick question - I've gotten every other item working so far, expect for one thing - my sims will not sleep in the pet bed. I think I might be missing an animation of some sort, but I'm unsure since I just double checked and I do have animation sets 1-13. I read the wiki over but I haven't been able to troubleshoot and fix this one myself like the other things I've managed. 

 

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the pet beds 1a file, and my DOS is the most UTD public release off of WW. Here is what they look like when they "sleep" in the beds:

 

They will stand there and get the sleep moodlet, and will recharge their sleep, but will not actually get in the bed haha. Ideas on what I'm missing / doing wrong?

Hey there,

I am running into an issue with one of the file ([Kritical]ObedientFurnitureSet1.package) since I updated my game to version 1.109.185.1030.

If I go to the CAS to customise a Sim when the mod in installed, I will have an infinite loading screen when exiting the CAS. 

I tried with and without testing cheats / fulleditmode, same result. 

Does anyone has the same issue ?

@imcandy No I dont provide support for DoS here. You cant download it here, so why would I? This is a support thread for whatever files are up on LL. Anyway there is no dependency on anything save for things mentioned in the requirements and the base game.

 

@RajuBaba I dont know which rooms you mean. This?

I'm really new to both the sims and this mod so this is probably a very uninformed question, but how do I get a sim to use the bondage furniture on my sim?

 

I have given the three submissive traits to my sim, and I have given the three dominant traits sim to another sim. I have about level 4 in the submissive traits right now if that matters (FlirtyFetishes is also installed). My relationship meters with the other sim are filled. I am in a romantic relationship with the other sim.

 

I have tried setting the chance to use beds and common items down as much as I can and increasing it as much as I can for the bondage furniture. But whenever I seduce my partner we end up using a bed instead of anything bondage related. I can't seem to use the furniture in any way since I am a sub to initiate something either.

im not sure if this was mentioned yet, but it seems like display case and supplicant arent showing up in-game

This mod is really cool, but as other people I have a problem with the Zen of Bondage book. It it impossible to use it to select dominance points (and yes I did everything needed before, with the business card etc.) Reading the book doesn't improve dominance level, and don't let me access any menu to select point. The only option is "read" or "reread". I have to use shift+click to add points on my dominant sim. 

 

Is there a fix for this problem?

 

EDIT : Another problem I have is that even if the submissive sim wears collar on all outfits, it shows that the sub is not collared in emotions, resulting in being tense.

I'm having an issue where if I enable dx11 and place one of your items I cannot save the lot.

@Stitchstar1010 Both show up just fine in my base game installation.

 

@markus_2000 Just saved with every object I ever made fine enough. Unless you give me specifics to try to replicate the issue, there isnt much else I can do. Usually this means your game or some of your mods need updating.

 

Anyway as far as DoS, next public release in a few days with DX 11 fixes for blank icons.

If I disable dx11 by using -dx9 in game properties) I can save no problem. If I load the game into dx 11 and place one of your items it will hang on the saving screen. The exception is the pipe platform which I can save no problem. Not exclusive to your content though. It also does this with older lorysims cars. Basically it's everything with a blank icon.

Kritical, do you have a all-in-one (merged) pack of your stuff or at a zip with all then somewhere? Cause having to download pages and pages of stuff is VERY slow and annoying.

Dude thank you, I was having the same problem, switched to dx9 and I can save again.

I know this isn't a Dreams of Surrender support thread, but maybe someone can clarify for me. I have the public version and many features seem to work, but I'm really struggling with starting the training of a sub. There seem to be very few interactions I can use, even when I have leveled up. Right now the Sub is due for punishment, but I can't seem to use even a basic low level punishment. Is this all locked behind Patreon? I'm certainly fine getting the Patreon version, just trying to make sure if this is just a restricted feature, or if I am failing to understand something.

I can't remember if this is a patreon only feature or not, but do you have an option to "develop dominant potential"? It should be by using the book or (with cheats enabled) by shift-clicking on your dom sim. From that list you should be able to give your dom some options for punishments he can give. Alternatively you can give your sub a shock collar via cas and use that for punishing them. The other option is to lock the sub into any of the various cages or bondage furniture that support locking subs into.
