Roejaster Posted May 14, 2019 Posted May 14, 2019 Hey gang, thanks for getting this far and reading this. I have signed up for nexus, registered here, went premium on nexus, downladed SSE off steam, downloaded the mods I wanted to use with their required mods listed, enabled all the mods in NMM and now I can't get the game to boot up. Here's some screen shots of my manager for reference. https://imgur.com/UAuFriC https://imgur.com/NjaZYCi
SpyVsPie Posted May 14, 2019 Posted May 14, 2019 At first glance you have both the oldim sexlab (1.62) an SSE sexlab (1.63) installed. Not sure if that is your only problem but it is definitely one of them, uninstall 1.62 and see if you get any farther.Â
Grimmdal Posted May 14, 2019 Posted May 14, 2019 Always run "Loot" Tool to make sure your load order is correct. if you crash at starting the game the problem mostly lies in your load order , failed masters.
Voldearag Posted May 14, 2019 Posted May 14, 2019 Also start over and use the mod manager Mod Organizer instead of Nexus Mod Manager, it'll let you drag around and change your install order and reinstall individual mods without needing you to start over every time. You might also want to follow one of the STEP mod guides for your first time to give you a handle on how to install stuff the right way and keep your file paths and names coherent, it's a really easy way to learn all the basics fast. https://wiki.step-project.com/STEP:2.10.0
Grey Cloud Posted May 14, 2019 Posted May 14, 2019 You definitely want to learn how to mod Skyrim and the S.T.E.P. guide is as good a place as any. You don't not need to change your mod manager.
Roejaster Posted May 14, 2019 Author Posted May 14, 2019 Thank you all for the tips! I'll dive into it again today and come back with an update.
