Syler1389 Posted May 11, 2019 Posted May 11, 2019 Hello. I loaded in for SE the BD Armor and Cloth replacer and its half working. I use NMM and it put texture files in correct place as i see the textures are diff on the armors now, but the armor shapes are all still standard. Not sure what step to take next. I ran them all through bodyslide set to my pc's specs and the armors fit, so thats another plus and they have physics...just the same old appearance. *sigh....least of my issues now i guess. I only have enough mods in to create character and modify armors and seems once im out of the intro area, if i leave game i cannot get back in...I can go into an earlier save just before character creation but seems once character is made and i save and log, i cannot get back in...I give up.

I don't know why I am replying since you've already given up. First, if you are using SE you need to repost this in the SE thread in the Technical Subforum. Then, you need to decide what you need help with and make your request much clearer. It sounds like you have more problem with your game than with your armor. You might want to title your post to reflect that. You might also want to be more specific about what you mean by "if i leave game i cannot get back in". Do you CTD (and if so at what point in reloading)? Do you get an infinite loading screen? Do you have the memory fix for SE?
Syler1389 Posted May 11, 2019 Author Posted May 11, 2019 ahh ty. WHen I log out I cannot log back in. It starts to then just vanishes back to my desktop. No endless screen nothing. Just gone like i hadnt tried to log in at all. I didnt know about a memory fix. wether thats the issue or not I am going to grab it. I was only frustrated when i said i gave up. IM an old guy and know noting about this stuff and been tring to set up for week and a half now and keep running into problems and haent even had more that an hour or two to actually try the game. lol.
Grey Cloud Posted May 11, 2019 Posted May 11, 2019 It sounds as if you need to go to the SE section and find a good guide to installing SE and getting it stable and then another guide for actually modding it. If the base game is not set up and configured correctly then modding it will be just a lesson in frustration.
Syler1389 Posted May 11, 2019 Author Posted May 11, 2019 yeah...last week a played a bit before crashing and was set up with over 60 mods....now in my frustration i cannot get past 15 before i start having issues. lol. Im looking into some of the tutorials and seeing sse patches and fixes i never knew existed. DOnt know if that is the issue but everything ive done so far has followed 2 diff tutorials to the letter and no luck so cannot hurt to try them.

WHen i rebuilt my set up boddyslide had not disposed of old files and now that i know they are called nifs i found them and got the folder out of there. It had some kind of conflict going on with that as it started up afterwards. Still have some fixes to do but that was a great start. Also I had not unzipped to data files. NMM places my files. If they are in the wrong place I blame NMM lol.

Last few days I learned xedit and got everything compatible and no crashing, no freezing, all perfect. Now I can actually play the game a bit. haha. Did have question on mods though. Is Defeat in sse yet? Im using submit atm and it seems to confuse npcs and they arent sure if they should be using horrible harrasment or submit protocals. lol. also my followers get confused sometimes and grab me in a hold( horrible harrasment). any way to solve the npc confusion? I hesitate to add more mods and confuse them more till i solve.

Syler1389 Posted May 16, 2019 Author Posted May 16, 2019 Tyty! THat helped alot. I had a few that were not quite compatible with SE in there but seemed to be working I had thought. THe npcs are less confused now in their dialogue. lol. And my last question if anyone would be so kind is this...I learned how to bring up racemenu ingame and make alterations, but not sure how to change the armors in bodyslide the those exact specs afterwards...
