[Help wanted] LITE install of sexlab on Linux

Hey there, i got the game running fine on my linux system and now start to mod it.

the obvious problem is that no mod manager will launch properly without hours of meddling with linux console commands, so i go without it completely.

 

i installed SKSE manually and will do so for SOS too and subscribed to SkyUI.

 

which community patches/tweaks are essential?

which bodyreplacers, sexual monsters mods and which Sexlab mods are recommended for a realism/immersion build of the game?

That depends highly on what style of game you want to play

.. and maybe which corner of immoral smut and fetish strikes your fancy.

 

Anyway, I am curious to read about getting Skyrim to run on Linux.

Realism is again a wide field ?

 

E.g. realism of playing a female character would lead you to a special kind of mods like Beeing Female to make you suffer through the ups and downs of the female cycle.

Is that what you had in mind?

well, "realism" in this case i meant just nothing breaking the immersion of the gameworld and so not making everyone a horny fuckslut or mindless rapist.

dying from not being able to find a shitting place or by malnourishment is just too much and reminds me of ArmA2 "which key do i use to inhale and which for exhaling? help, i'm suffocating!"

so no "i show off tits and vagina"-armor except if it actually fits lore - so maybe something for dibella's followers.

not everything should be on a fucking rampage although some monsters and bandits should be likely to fuck an enemy if they win.

prostitution and sluttish behaviour should be a thing that is sneered upon by many.

YAY! until yesterday night, i could play perfectly fine with SKSE and SkyUI and today it refuses to load SKSE - without me changing anything. FML

That sounds familiar. I assume you're using Wine? Did you install your own version, or use the OS version? Or was it something like PlaysOnLinux?

 

For a mod manager, it might be worth getting to know Wrye Bash. It's Python based and so it  should run just fine. It's got a decent feature set too, once you get your head around how it works.
