sos Underwear issues

Hi everyone,

I recently downloaded a male follower from that other site we all know. When I went to change his armor I noticed he had a black loincloth on.

I tried using the gear management in AFT and it didn't remove it. I know SOS is working on him because he has his bits which very weird hang through the underwear, but work properly despite it.

Is there any way to get rid of the underwear? Remove it for good somehow?

I normally use female followers or have gotten lucky with the few males I have used before and didn't have to deal with this just missing equipment.

The mod author already said she won't change that part of him so he's left as is on her end.

The follower is Geralt of Rivia voiced follower on nexus. I would really appreciate it if someone could explain how to fix it or offers to fix it for me since I have no clue what I'm doing with most modding tools.

Replace his body nif files with new ones that don't have the underwear in them. Many followers come with underwear in the nif files so when they are naked they still have something on and you can't see anything unless you replace those nif files with nude versions. Just find a male body that you want to use that is nude and has no underwear in it and use those to replace the followers 2 body nif files.

He comes with his own custom armor and his skin has been edited to look like CDPR's Geralt (as close as you can get anyways). Replacing the nips won't mess that up will it?

 It's 'nifs' - nips are something else. His skin is the texture. The nifs are are skelton/frame on which the texture sits.

Body texture is probably edited to work with the male body so using a different body is fine you'll just have to open the new nif files in nifskope and change the texture path for the body files to match that of the body texture path for the original body nifs.

 

You can leave the armors as is as they will not matter.

Changing the .nif worked, but apparently the mod author put underwear on the skin as well so it still looks weird.. Thank you for the help.

I'll remember this the next time I run into the same issue.
