Xuvish Posted April 13, 2019 Posted April 13, 2019 My skyrim keeps randomly crashing after I installed the devious cursed loot Mod. What can I do to fix? Here are my current installed mods.
RJLbwb Posted April 13, 2019 Posted April 13, 2019 Assuming you ran like TESDit or Loot to check your load order; try optimizing your textures. The game engine is pretty bad about how handles textures. People claim it can run 4K textures but I have problems with anything over 2K.
Grey Cloud Posted April 13, 2019 Posted April 13, 2019 You appear to have the wrong skeleton. The one you want is XPMSE by Groovtama currently at version 4.5 or higher. You appear to have theold skeleton by XP. I don't know if that will fix your problem, which should be addressed to the DCL support thread, but it will help in the long run. You require the top download from this link: https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/676-xp32-maximum-skeleton-special-extended-xpmsse/ (assuming you are running LE. If you have SE then you have cocked up big time). You don't require NiO as a standalone as it is part of Racemenu. Take no notice of the ramblings of post #1.
Xuvish Posted April 14, 2019 Author Posted April 14, 2019 I installed the new XPMSE file you linked and uninstalled NiO and it still crashed. I ran FNIS before loading. I also loaded an older version on a save that it wasn't crashing. After about 5-10 minutes, it still crashed.
Grey Cloud Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 Post your load order. To get it, use the three vertical dots in LOOT. Post it here using spoiler tags (the eye symbol in the icons across the top here). Something to check. You will need to make sure you have all of the requirements for all of the mods you have installed.
