I was getting stuck in AAF with animations working great but never ending. So I upgraded to the new AAF version thinking that might fix the issue, but then I got stuck at 68% loading after updating to the latest AAF Beta and the new One Patch to Bang Them All.

 

After reading everything related to the "stuck loading bug," I validated game files, deleted everything AAF-related, reinstalled F4SE, reverted back to version 1.64 and just loaded that without any animations, and got AAF to load. Then I loaded up all the animation packs and the old "one patch to bang them" (the 2.644 hot patch) . . . and got stuck at 68% again. [Bangs head, cracks a beer]

 

I finally got AAF to work again by uninstalling Atomic Lust and Mutated Lust, and now all the animations are working properly in-game. My Home button still doesn't work at all, but F11 will initiate scenes no problem.

 

I've got a decent-sized load order -- 714 mods, 589 plugins -- so I'm psyched to have AAF working again, and it's working just fine with the new AAF mods that dropped this week (AAF Magnolia Sex Scene, AAF Brother from DC Expansion, AAF Brothel from Tales of the Commonwealth).

FYI I've been dying to have the "wake up to morning sex" mod work, but somehow have never managed to get this to play nice with Sleep Intimate. If anyone knows of a workaround, please post.

If you haven't already done so, you might check out the Up-To-Date Adult Oriented Setup Guide, also known as the AAF Fucking Manual.  It includes sections for what mods are and are not compatible with AAF.  Also if you have any specific problems with it moving forward I suggest joining their discord, the link is in the guide.

so interesting thing happened to me after a year of using lovers lab mods in fo4 i started a new profile today to play the new mod zeta and well after the startup screen the game would not load sat for 45 minuets with the green logo in the bottom right hand corner. figured i had done something wrong eventually i started a new profile and loaded mods 1 by one as soon as aaf was loaded no joy or xm 2010 advanced sniper rifle same thing so i deleted them oh btw looks menu didn't have full functionality either and no presets were loaded. i use vortex because I'm not the fantastic people that make this all possible (thanks all modders ) you keep the dream alive . and mo2 i cant seem to work at all, i understand engines, transmissions  and mechanical stuff. any way I digress. what i found was f4se doesn't start from vortex when you push the play button on the game you must start it from the fo4 .exe tab. I hope this helps someone
