Problems with rain and enb

So I havnt really been able to see this happen until recently, but any time it starts raining and i look at a normal level as i run around travelling, i start to get low fps but when i look down at the ground, its perfectly fine. I did abit of looking and say that the enb menu may be able to help with this but it doesnt seem to open up when i press the keys, i even went in to the enblocal.ini file to change the keybinding but still doesnt work.

In enbseriers.ini, under [RAIN], set EnableSupersampling to false. Also you can set EnableAntialiasing to false if you want.

If you are using an ENB you enblocal is very wrong.

I installed the ENB from that guide right there after having a problem with not being able to load saves, it didnt work right after i installed the ENB and all that but did work not to long afterwards so i thought i installed it correctly

Edit: Just turned the EnableSupersampling to false, and EnableAntialiasing was already false

Sadly not.

Then you are unning ENBoost and not your ENB.

Follow the S.T.E.P. guide plus any instructions on the ENB's page.

 

If you are using a laptop and that card is drawing off system RAM then you will probably struggle to run an ENB preset. 4GB of VRAM is generally the minimum for an ENB.

Well. Every thing seems to be order, just need to test and see how well it handles in rain. I can enter the ENB menu in game now so we're good on that front.

Edit: Rain is still causing low fps and this time actually made me crash.

I have the feeling that we are still not on the same page here.

 

1. A 'preset' is the actual graphics part of the ENB. This is the thing which gives you the nice visuals and the GUI. ENBoost is the memory management part of things. ENBoost can be used on its own or with a preset. Apreset cannot work without the ENBoost part.

 

2. Follow the S.T.E.P. links I posted above. The thing you followed is generic and tells you what I said - follow the instructions of the ENB preset. You must have installed a preset as you say you have the GUI and ENBoost does not have that. The loading screenshots show that you were only using ENBoost. You have now changed the settings in enblocal to the correct ones to allow the ENB preset to work. You loading screen should now only show the white text messages and not the red.

The preset i'v installed is the Organic one

I followed its install instructions using the NMM and then copied and pasted its setting into the skyrim directory as it said to. After I did that, and launched the game. I got this when I started it.

I believe i did install the ENB HELPER DLL back when i installed every thing, and i believe so as well, i'll make sure though.

Logic, if you are ussing FULL ENB with postprocessing in an IGP the framerate and performance is VERY LOW.

 

Do you have a LAPTOP??? If you have a desktop computer HOW are you configured it and WHAT video card have???

No i dont have a laptop, and if this is a laptop its a pretty fucking weird one. pretty heavy to. And it has a separate screen from the keyboard as well. Is this normal?

That is a DESKTOP computer and of course any DESKTOP computer have a case with the machine and use external monitor and external keyboard. Is a bit old but is not too bad. Have similar performance to my i5-4460.

I have my i5-4460 and i have TWO video cards:

Intel HD 4600 ---> that is the IGP inside the CPU and is equivalent to your HD 7560D

Gforce GTX 660 --> my aditional powerfull video card

 

For use any ENB preset you NEED a powerfull video card.

If you not have ANOTHER video card you can NOT use FULL ENB whithout have a BIG impact in performance and that mean low framerate, artifacs, problems in rain and snow...

 

I ask again: Do you have any ADITIONAL video card?

My only explanation on a DESKTOP computer is plugging the monitor into the graphic connector on the motherboard. That can disconnect the additional card in PCIExpress, at least it does in my machine. In this way, Windows, the game and ENB use the integrated graphics card.

Yes but in order to have a card as the the default you have to turn off the onboard in the BIOS. (As in tell BIOS to look elsewhere).

Not, normally that is not necesary. The computer MUST show info in the screen and made it ussing the informaction from the conectors. If you connect the monitor to the motherboard you close a conection and the computer know that you have put a monitor in that connector.

If you have the IGP enabled in the bios and you NOT have another monitor in the connector of the graphics card the motherboard use the conected monitor to the motherboard for show the image.

 

If you have ONLY one monitor and you have the IGP enabled in bios and you have the drivers correctly installed you can connect the monitor to any graphics connector IN THE FLY (in real time, that mean NOW)

for enable the IGP or the PCIExpress card. You can ear how windows make a sound (the magic of the plug and play) and say new hardware detected and start show the image in the monitor.
