PunktheKing Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 https://www.mediafire.com/download/kg9jgwj7qb9z2ju So this is a link to a bunch of ffxiv outfits and armour and I was wondering if anyone could help me make these for Skyrim? Or help me tweak them a little bit like removing sleeves or the like? If worst comes to worst, make them for me? I will pay you compensation for your time.
myuhinny Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 From what I saw most if not all of those models are somewhat flatish and will have to be worked on in a 3d program like blender or 3d max to get them looking right and posed correctly.

myuhinny Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 I'm no good at actual models that need molding and posing in blender. I have only worked with stuff that has it's own rigging and outfits that have a body form.

This stuff takes a lot of time to convert it right, technically I can help with that, will look at this files later and contact you if it's worth it. Upd - all meshes are flattened, Armor and clothing files are in A-pose skeleton (bad for rigging), with multiple pieces in meshes - hard to convert it. Prob 6-8 hours a day \5 days only on 1 armor mesh. That's not worth it dude,to much technical difficulties.

Or should I just give it up.
RomeoZero Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Yeah too much work needs to be done with this archive, no one probably will do it even if paid. Maybe choose couple of favorite clothing and try to ask people to help with donations.Clothing can be scaled but adjusting multi-piece mesh to a skyrim skeleton will take lots of time.
PunktheKing Posted April 4, 2019 Author Posted April 4, 2019 All right, thank you very much. Do you see any armours that are particularly great? It's gonna take a while for me to decide personally.
myuhinny Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 You can also try learning blender or 3d max and try converting somethings yourself if you want more of the outfits converted over.

He'll waste WAY more time for this but if he's planning to invest time in modding skyrim for the future, its worth years of learning

Its what you desire, actually, XPS(XNA lara) deviant art communities have FF converted models for XNA, if you'll find it for XlV it will be a lot easier to convert them to Skyrim skeleton. They have the scripts to import them, adjust and model rigging em is quicker for modders.

Seems like it should be easier to start from scratch, even if they don't come out nearly like the original versions.
PunktheKing Posted April 10, 2019 Author Posted April 10, 2019 Oh well thanks for the help. I was wondering if you guys could maybe help me with my oblivion question as well? I made a topic for it.
