Whatever decade that I'm still alive and healthy in and can enjoy everything created in previous decades is the best decade for me.

Any gripes both major and minor can be dealt with in their time and once they are in the past, we can all gloss over them when looking back on bygone days wistfully.

The eighties. Because i was too young, stupid and naive to understand what's going on ?

Yea.  Have to agree with you on that one.  I never realized the bliss of being young and dumb until it was too late.  LOL!!!

The 80s. Well, of course I'm going to say the 80s. My teenage years were encapsulated entirely within the 80s.

-No "helicopter" or "snowplow" parenting -- I was permitted to crash headlong into unyielding reality. Required to, actually.

-No Internet. I had to make friends/peace in meatspace, with people who offered friction. No virtual social bubbles.

-I was really, really good at Joust. And Galaga. And Q*Bert.

-I saw the Butthole Surfers. Live. In Detroit. They were way more stoned than I was. ?

I regret nothing.

I did enjoy the 80's as things were much simpler,go for a job no resume required....I had three in high school, now of course those jobs don't exist

Drive inns, hide a carton and your friends in the boot of a 350 Chevy ( best sound known to man )

stabbing my best friend in Tech Drawing ( high school ) with a compass,no one said a thing,I did find the 90's to be more enjoyable, but i was in my prime by then ( 20's ) and discovered women rather that cars were more fun to play with

Lets see, didn't really know the 60s, but some good music

70s were wild, yes I like disco, but then again, i like most every kind of music (not a fan of opera though)

The 80s were the best, but like others, I wasn't aware of all the bad that was going on like when we were the closest to nuclear war in 1983:  Andropov convinced that the US was going to attack, especially after they shot down KAL 007, big NATO exercise going on and Russia's satellites were acting flaky and said that the US just launched a dozen of missiles.   Thankfully a Soviet Lt. Col did not believe and did not send the message up the chain.  Not to mention the whole crime wave peaking.  I laugh when people talk about how dangerous the world is now, but back in the 80s, if you were in the bigger cities, you got to see the cocaine wars.   I was too busy enjoying the music, wondering how i can convince Susanna Hoffs to date a younger guy (me) and discovering all the fun things that you can do with the opposite sex, means it was the best decade.

90s were not bad either, though was in college so kinda had to miss most the fun (Liberal Arts students when to the bars on Friday, STEM students with to Potter Engineering Library on Fridays.  Good music, loved Gangsta Rap.

2000s, world shifting but still great music  great movies, starting a family

10s, ummm......well......I suppose it might go down just like the 60s, but without the music.   Come on folks, if auto tune is in the song, the lyrics suck.   HOwever, perhaps in 40 years, someone will say "ohh wow remember how great the 10s were!".   I wish that person well in the new world.
