Not asking for help but I have a question

Okay, so I just built a PC, it currently have only a SSD. So I obviously couldn't install my Skyrim on another disk. I was just wondering, what issues can it lead to ? Only permission ones ?

shorter load times    unless you fill the drive but even a old spinner get worse when its full so nothing new on that front

Permissions shouldn't be any different if that is the drive with the OS installed, primary partition or whatever

Everything is identical but the ssd gets older faster, say some.

Others point to terabytes written and the 5-year warranty (or so).

I think with all my mods, and the NMM having uncompressed versions of those mods, and me changing mods almost nightly,

I'd opt for a cheapo huge hard drive, but you can't get people to agree on anything anymore so I'm thinking it probably 

is not worth worrying about.

That whole permissions thing relates to the folders windows wants to control.

so installing on partition2:\skyrim might be better than users\peaches\games\skyrim, but I'm just thinking out loud

I do agree with the poster above and the strange name.

I'd recommend to get something like the first one IF you have a free SATA slot, the important part imho are the 7200 rpm so it's at least reasonable fast. While not reaching SSD spead, for me that was almost always fast enough to be unable to read the hints during loading screens, so... i consider that good enough.

Hard drives of any ilk only load into RAM. They don't load it directly to your screen. A few milliseconds shaved off here and there aren't going to be that noticeable.
