i think the developer of ink reshuffle should update their tool to work with DOA 6...and that way it would be easier for modders to extract models and costumes they would like..

You can take any model from the game in less than 20s with the current tools

Does anybody know how to change a costume-mod's slot for Kasumi WITHOUT making the game crash whenever she teleports? This seems like a problem unique to Kasumi, and it's super egregious.

I recently (yes, sadly recently) found this video explaining "How To Get DOA6 Mods To Work ONLINE For PC!!! - YouTube", so I did it with Kasumi and changed the names of files to a slot that didn't have her ninja mask (and had better physics ;P), and the costume looked perfect! ...But the game crashed whenever using a teleport move because... idk I'm guessing one of the files corresponds to the way her after-image looks, or which effects are used by what costume?

I really don't know, but if there's any way to fix Kasumi's obnoxious teleport-crash with modded costumes in different slots, lemme know. I get the feeling it's something like replacing one of the material files with one that corresponds to the outfit the mod originally uses or something (but I don't know which files do what)? Maybe I have to convert the files somehow? Idk, any help is appreciated

How to know what index a file is? For your example the Kasumi's new g1m file index is 1582.

Hi, I'm having trouble understand matpalid texture.

 

Basically, I ported a piece of mesh in MARCOS105 to MARCOS007, I'm trying to attach original MARCOS105 textures after porting this new costume.

 

The .mtl file of MARCOS007 contains the following lines:

 

MPR_Muscle_Character_MARCOS007_a01,0
MPR_Muscle_Character_MARCOS007_b01,1
MPR_Muscle_Character_MARCOS007_body,2
MPR_Muscle_Character_MARCOS007_c01,3

 

I then added

MPR_Muscle_Character_MARCOS105_d01,4

and converted it back to .mtl

 

I also added <Material> and <MaterialAttributes> copied directly from MARCOS105, then edied <Submesh> Matpalid to 4, then edited Attribute value and Material value.

 

However, the game immediately crashed after this edit.

 

How can I attach original MARCOS105 textures?

After playing around for a few days, I think I understand the system much better now... Please ignore my previous question...

 

My new problem is about wet texture, I can't seem to attach wet textures (kidsmm1 and kidsmm2) to none wet meshes. Only these two textures can't be added no matter what I try (I tried .xml add material, add material attri, add new lordgroup mesh etc, also tried adding in character .ktid and .mtl, tried material .ktid and .kts, I can't think of anything else to try...

 

The current walkaround I come up with is that replace textures of a wet mesh in another costume, then use character .ktid and .mtl to attach. However, obviously if using this method two costumes can't be used together...

 

Wet effect can be quite useful, for example I tried on underwear:

You can also make underwear and stockings more wet and transparent~ish using this method to make them look like incontinence... quite fun... xD

Is anybody could answer how to use DOA6 textures in Blender's PrincipledBSDF?

I know that:

- alb (Albedo) -Base Color;

- nmh/nmb (normal map) - Normal via Normal Map.

But what about others:

- occ (Ambient Occlusion?) - multiply with Albedo map to get BaseColor?

- rfr (Roughness map?) - looks like  Green channel to Roughness and Blue channel to Specular via Separate RGB? Or not?

- shl (what  is this map?)?

- s4m (what is this map)?

- wtm (WhaterMark?) - how to connect it?

Please help to understand the purpose of each textures at least.

Hey, guys I need some help with the g1mtools/g1a2fbx. I'm trying to convert "NYO07020_WIN.g1a" into an FBX format so I can import it into Blender, but I'm getting Invalid argument. Can anyone inform me of what went wrong or if I'm missing anything?

So far, I've tried;

1. Drag and drop the g1a into g1a2fbx, I get and follow what's shown in the screenshot.

2. I manually opened the exe. It asks me to choose the g1a, but when I choose any g1a, it just closes.

 

My goal here is to try to open and animate Nyo's face as close to her DOA5 win pose as I could as a first test.

Hi , anyone know if theres any mods like marie deluxe one that only have the underwear removed ?

 

i tried to search everywhere i could but so far the best ive found is a strange naked body , a blury deluxe one , a half transparent swimsuit , and some stocking naked one

 

im mainly interesed in the yellow dress , but any bare legs one with skirt will be fine

Anyone know if it's possible to mod doa6 on blender 3.6? I did my usual process for modding like in 2.79 but for whatever reason, when I export the mesh and make the mod folder and view it in game, the body is horribly warped in game, even tho I'm positive I used a clean G1m file with VG maps after using the base nude body. I would prefer if I could mod on 3.6 with a fix since 2.79 I feel is not as good as 3.6

Anyone know how to swap character movesets without stretching the character models and the voice being that of whoever's moveset you're using? This video is the only example I have of that.

so i have both this outfit mod, one is the normal version with the coat+bikini, another is the only the bikini without the coat

now how do i make the coat version show bikini when after gotten hit by a break attack ?
