srgsnail Posted February 10, 2019 Posted February 10, 2019 I have tried cleaning everything many, many times. however following all the install instructions I keep missing a step somewhere and i have no idea what it was. I keep getting these warnings in FNIS >Warning: Generator not run from a legal (Steam) Skyrim installation directory. I have run Skyrim from steam thinking that would fix it as well but that did nothing. Do any of you guys know what i fucked up on?

SpyVsPie Posted February 10, 2019 Posted February 10, 2019 You installed the SE version of sexlab in legendary edition. Get the correct version and uninstall that one.
donttouchmethere Posted February 10, 2019 Posted February 10, 2019 Would be interesting what Mod Organizer you use: If you use MO you need to install FNIS via MO and run it from MO? If you use Vortex the same rule applies? and what spy and nazzgul said. but why so you want to run SE animations on LE ?
Pavaux Posted February 10, 2019 Posted February 10, 2019 As the others said, wrong FNIS. Use the FNIS for the Legendary version of Skyrim, not Special Edition. Also, you do not have the Creatures pack installed despite having "SexLabCreature V1.63". Your creatures will have no animations unless you install the creatures pack, found in the optional tab on the FNIS nexusmods downloads section.
