hogsmaws Posted February 10, 2019 Posted February 10, 2019 The Northgirl clothing mod got a bodyslide mod for it HERE but there seems to be some drama about the color red version (you can read about it in the comments of the mod). My issue is that when I run the batch-build in bodyslide I get 3 errors for the color red (see pic). is there any way to edit some of the files to get rid of that error?
Neurosphere Posted February 11, 2019 Posted February 11, 2019 If you use BodySlide through Mod Organizer then you have to update your meshes folder after batching. There is an overwrite files section at the very bottom of the modlist window. Doubleclick it and put the meshes folder into the outfit folder. Missing .nifs is the main problem of seams and weird mesh behaviour at conversed outfits.
hogsmaws Posted February 11, 2019 Author Posted February 11, 2019 there has to be a file either in the Data\CalienteTools\BodySlide section that has these entires. ShapeData ShapeGroups ShapeSets I can't find the file to remove the entries from BodySlide trying to use them.

hogsmaws Posted February 11, 2019 Author Posted February 11, 2019 28 minutes ago, Grey Cloud said: Isn't the error message is giving you the full path? yes but i am trying to make the bodyslide not look for it anymore. if you read the drama with the mod author of the bodyslide and the orig mod author he was not allowed to HDT the red version so it seems he just deleted the red HDT files but somewhere it is still looking for them. i am trying to edit it so it does not look for those red bodyslided files.

This is just a workaround but maybe worth a try to get rid of your errors Unzip this into your Data\CalienteTools\Bodyslide\ShapeData\Northgirl folder RED.7z

I renamed the white folder red and then renamed the files in it. ? awesome. i just opened up one of your files and noticed that some pathing was off. this is just an example: the bwh.dds is the texture for the white and pointing to the white folder so you would need to changed the path to the red folder and change the dds to bred.dds you have to be VERY THOROUGH & METICULOUS re-pathing as there are some files that do not pertain to RED. there are alot of changes so grab a cup of coffee...

hogsmaws Posted February 11, 2019 Author Posted February 11, 2019 wow i was trying to get rid of the red but now we figured out how to get red to work in bodyslide. sweet. i also just edited the esp to give males world views. when you play male chars you cannot see the Northgirl items. all you have to do is copy paste the female world view to the male world view in xEdit. i think this mod is in a good place for me. hope this helped someone else too ?
