Hi Guys. There are many animation packs out there, but Skyrim crashes if you get too many animations. So im looking for a simple way to remove unwanted animations from those packs to conserve space, but i dont know how to do it. Simply removing hkx files from game isnt enough. Any advices?

MadMansGun has done this all over LoversLab. If you're lucky he'll come here and answer in this thread. That being said if I were going to look for that answer I would go to his mod, More Nasty Critters and look for that information. It is probably in one of his many informational boxes.

Also, the newest information would indicate that careful use of animations can allow you a LOT more than we used to think (information per Fore). It is primarily the character animations that you have to watch for.

You can just remove unwanted animations from the FNIS list, typically located in Meshes\actors\character\animations\NAME OF SLAL PACK\ and rerun FNIS again. You can remove the no longer needed hkx files afterwards to save some disk space, but the important part for the limit is to tell FNIS which animations you want and which not.

Thanks,  everyone! Almost a step by step guide how to do it. Now i can finally have some free space... to fill it with perverted stuff again. Great?
