Toriax Posted January 6, 2019 Posted January 6, 2019 Hmmm, I'd recommend doing a general troubleshooting session: Disable all plugins except for vanilla Start a new game (or for a general idea of what's happening, load a game) Enable each plugin either individually or in small batches (ie- armor mods, then weapons, then script-related things individually) Gradually narrow down which plugin(s) is/are the culprit as you enable more mods Have you been able to previously play with these mods in this load order, or were there mods that you recently added? I'm guessing that you're in an exterior cell? I'm under the impression that NAC, or something that's related to what it does, would be the most suspicious. Next, I'd look at mods that remove objects or edit files. Maybe even lighting mods? I hope that this helps!

It's been a while,i recently had this load order but this same load order is avariation of what i've used before. I even uninstalled NAC and played with NO issues until something with fallout 4 hotkeys crashed the game. I truly have no idea whats going on

If you've used the same mods but the current order that they're listed is just a different permutation of those mods, would you be comfortable reorganizing them? From what I understand, it sounds like you were able to run all these mods without problems until the order changed; is that correct? Also, it sounds like something that FO4 Hotkeys is playing with. Are there other mods that play with binding keys or console commands?

Might be that the firewall is constantly interfering, might be, it's the virus check, might be that there's some communication with steam that interfers with the game running smoothly.

Seeing as the cc junk is called up by the game, even if you haven't bought anything. It's in the Papyrus log as missing files.
LukeDuke Posted January 8, 2019 Posted January 8, 2019 I had the same problem, until I disabled internet access for bugthesda games, but going to control panel/administrative tools/firewall and then disallow any connection for Fallout4.exe also for SkyrimSE.exe Funny thing is CK was also crashing so I disabled internet for it too and it just works! Even better now without stupid CC crap

Just keep in mind that it does not fix CTD's during gameplay, only main menu CTD.. This is my screen from the settings you should modify to fully block it from both outgoing and incoming rules. It's in Polish but you should recognise it.

Oh it fixed the crash fest I was experiencing lately. Might be because the latest update started to call for cc stuff, even if you don't have it. If it really pings that junk, that may well be the reason why it was crashing every 20 seconds.
