plamya Posted December 24, 2018 Posted December 24, 2018 hi! I create a follower based onĀ myĀ character. I copy everything, including hair and hairline models. and the hair on the follower becomes transparent. the hair looked normal on myĀ character. what am I doing wrong? Ā PS on the screens are my character and the based-on-follower
Gunslicer Posted December 24, 2018 Posted December 24, 2018 I believe the problem is in the hair in the creationkit, see if the hairHL is marked with the extra optionĀ and is listed in the hair list. It's the only thing I can think of. Ā Ā Sorry if this does not solve the problem.

Psalam Posted December 25, 2018 Posted December 25, 2018 CPU wrote a mod for making followers which included the steps necessary for getting the hair to work properly. Let me refer you to: Ā I readily admit that 90% of the material is not relevant to you. Simply skip down to the section on making the follower's hair and see what advice he gave that you may have missed.

plamya Posted December 26, 2018 Author Posted December 26, 2018 maybe it isn't a trancparency.Ā maybe the problem in the flags in NIF? but i just had a copy of NIFs so it's gonna be similar. i dunno.
plamya Posted December 29, 2018 Author Posted December 29, 2018 i found the solution. hair is fixed now. thanks for everyone who share their help!
Psalam Posted December 29, 2018 Posted December 29, 2018 If you don't mind, please tell what the problem was in case others have the same problem in the future.

samuelga24 Posted December 9, 2023 Posted December 9, 2023 (edited) In my case the issue was that I had my Hairline set as hair instead of misc in the creation kit, also, hairline does not need to have a .tri file set. Edited December 9, 2023 by samuelga24
Andy14 Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 ... and don't forget that the Playable checkbox is checked in the Hair and Hairline Extra Part - see CKĀ ?
