if you add two mods and the first one fails already the 2nd will make issues too => stop adding mods if the first one fails already

you only need the newest one => v0.2

 

the mod is only a esp file and the folders aren't set up for NMM right away

what you can do:

 

add the CursedChests.esp manually to your skyrim data folder

 

or if you want to use NMM:

- download via your browser

- extract the rar

- create a folder structure like this: CursedChests 0.2/data/CursedChests.esp

 - zip the file

- add to NMM

I am sorry, I hope I don't understand what you mean.

(you don't rename any files, only folders!)

the idea is to tell NMM via folder hierarchic where it has to install the files

normaly NMM does that automaticly, but if there aren't any subfolders in the compressed files, NMM can't automaticly add a data folder

 

How to create a zip file that works with NMM:

grab zip: 7-zip and install it if you haven't already

 

  1. download CursedChests 0.2.rar from LL
  2. right click on the file and choose 7-zip > extract to "CursedChests 0.2\"
  3. this creates a folder named CursedChests 0.2, inside is the CursedChests.esp
  4. open the folder CursedChests 0.2 and create a new folder inside named "data"
  5. move the CursedChests.esp into your new data folder
  6. right click on the CursedChests 0.2 folder and choose 7-zip > add to archive
  7. 7-zip window pops up, you can now remane the archive or just press okey
  8. zip will compress the folder CursedChests 0.2 to CursedChests 0.2.7z
  9. add the new zip file to NMM
  10. done! =D

 

alternative: just put the CursedChests.esp into skyrim/data and activate the esp via NMM

well, probably i cant do much since i cant skript and stuff, everything i can do is creating these chests as teleporters and the rooms...
was actually looking for some support in modding here

PM some of the other modders here; maybe they can help.  If nothing else, perhaps it could be modified to be incorporated natively into something like Cursed Loot so it's more that just a proof of concept.  For what it's worth, I agree: the coding can be hard.  You got a lot farther with your mod than I did :)

if you ever get a chance to add features can i request that you integrate the Amputator framework so we can exchange flesh for release so few mods make use of it and those that do have so much extra slapped on
