well it seems 3dm(3dmigoto) also works for this game to a great degree much like the other tecmo koei games

 

you can extract the models and edit them in blender(weapons,characters,objects, in-game pictures.etc) except items that are 4d (her necklace/capes/sashes) and may need to be codded out.

 

you can mess with the hair,cloths,skin,eyes,etc

 

 

change the colors/add or remove pieces/or edit the pictures in-game

 

 

for example: since both her outfits are using the same mesh, changing one will change both, but you can have two different colors for both costumes

and change how oily they look or how shiny clothing is

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

seems rather fine in-game

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

textures can be changed to make top  seem see-through

 

 

 

 

 

can even add attire to them such as zhou tai's hat (if you know what your doing)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

an example of changing the pictures  in-game but you may need to be somewhat good at photo shopping or other art software to get desired look

well atm the best thing i can do is make texture edits and add different sizes for the female cast. anything nude  may take some time if  it works out. i know enough say that anything mesh related can be added to the game

How did you go about getting the model to blender? That's where I'm seem to be lost in translation.

 

So far, I unpacked the g1m file, but I'm stuck after that.

I will at some point i will need to upload a modified version of 3dm to nexus along with this and any other mods I edit. since i have no experience in modding it the alternative way(g1m) as others pointed out.

 

i plan on modding all the female cast but ill get ideas as i go i guess

May I ask a tiny favour for your female mods? could you add an option of them being in just their panties only? some outfits have really sexy underwear thats just obsured by skirts and other objects, and others lack such nice undergarments. (it may be easy to edit of you leave nudifying those for last, but I know nothing of the mod process)

after finding a nude mesh of some characters on the web and spending about 2 days in blender with 3dm. i managed to swap one of them. i wanted to show some advantages of using a nude mesh as a base.

 

 

 

took a while but this is how it would look using 3dm(some characters may be more difficult due to their clothing). I manage to replace her body and head which made it easy since i didn't have to try to match the textures between the two(even though her head and body didn't match in vanilla anyway). it also help that part of this mesh was from this game also

 

you can add pieces of their armor back over it, if you prefer skimpy or reduced clothing sets

 

or you can add other clothing from other games on top of it and mix and match textures

 

turned out petty well but may have to tweaks a few things and add backface culling in certain spots

 

 

once again this was done due to already having a nude mesh as making one is out my experience atm. and certain characters may vary in difficulty due to their clothing so modding an costume with less clothing the better.

i much rather make their outfit more revealing than do a nude body its less of a hassle and i can add different body size options much easier. anything is much more simpler than swapping a whole body.

just wanted to update

 

my goal atm is to mod all the "other" characters 1st then upload the mods on nexus then do the rest of the roster by clan/kingdom. By doing texture and size changes to the female roster (as well as there alternate attires). after which i don't mind taking any requests/bug fixes/re-textures etc, if its possible/reasonable.

 

Im aware a some folks want a full nude mod for the F roster so after I mod a folder for each character by faction, I will attempt to swap a full nude mesh over them. which will allow more freedom in adding clothing. but it will be last/much later (after I make basic changes to roster)

I will wait and hope for it and that first image of lu lingqi looks so amazing, any chance you will at some point do outfit ports? from other KOEI games or mixing some character outfits from one character to the other, like face of nu wa but outfit of diao chan or something like that? also are you have any plans on modding male outfits also? apologize for all this questions but WO4 is my all time favorite game and seeing all this you done so far some how give me hope that there will be more mods

I am not like rest of guys, I don't care much about nude mods just new outfits or super cool textures like you did on sanzang

i will say that doing ports(outfits) from any game can be put on any the characters. however there are some limitations for example we cant mod in 4d objects. From my experience (perhaps there is a way) if the outfit had a cape or a skirt  that moves around we will have to remove or build an outfit around it and just change the texture of the cape . Pretty much the outfit that characters are wearing will determine whats possible most of the time.

 

if the characters wearing like a body suit then that character will have the easiest time having there outfit replace with almost anything. unlike another whose wearing large robes, we may need to choose an alternate costume were there form is more visible. If i make them a nude body then adding outfits unto them would be much quicker so there is some benefit

 

I don't mind later doing other requests and whatnot (even for males) but progress is going to be abit slow as my mental creativity and butt from sitting drains from trying to figure out how to mod the outfit initially. But as i said ill add alternative options later much like i did for the other tecmo koei games i modded.

my apology I didn't realize it is that complicated, I just thought it can be use models from DW8 or SW4-II as I imagine they have use one of those engine for WO4 but I imagine that would take a hell of a hard work, sorry dude

 

well what ever you make I will wait for it as much as it need and I have one more question sorry, I have seen your images and you seem to use blender so my question is, can it be used to take parts from one character outfit and give it to the other in so making brand new outfit, like taking nobunaga deification form parts and putting it on susano or something like that?
