Different Versions of FNIS

Hey, I installed the FNIS version for Skyrim SE, the yellow one, which turned out not to be compatible with most of my mods, so I downloaded the one for the standard edition, the orange one, and changed the pathing in MO, if I try to launch the file from the window explorer it works fine albeit with no animations to load, however when I launch it from MO, even with the new pathing, it only launches the SE version, the yellow one. DO you know how could I fix this?

To begin to answer your question you need to tell us which version of Skyrim you are USING (SE or LE). All your mods and mod tools should be for that version (SE or LE). You can NOT (with rare exceptions) mix mods of the two types, including FNIS and animations.

You are using MO, so I suppose you are using Oldrim (LE)

Uninstall the previous FNIS (the one for SE.)

Install the LE version of FNIS manually in your Data folder

Then, inside MO, create a reference to GenerateFNISForUsers, and run it from inside MO.

Appearently this assumption isn't save anymore, i still didn't try MO2 myself but i see a lot of people recommend it (and some of them might even know what they're talking about ;) ) even if you're using Oldrim now, so i guess it became that stable this year that it's nice to use it.
