Guest Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 Farewell great 8bit composer. I will always remember the music of Last Ninja on the C64.
27X Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 Daglish. Ben, for all intents and purposes created synthwave, and made music that defined the childhood of anyone born in europe in the 80s and 90s. He never received proper accreditation for the amount of work he did, because not only did he compose, but he arranged then coded the music himself for virtually every title he worked on. Absolute legend.

Absolute legend. He wrote the original code (intuition) fore the SID tracker. That was in the latest 80s. I had 10 years of fun in music composing with his idea. And still, he did a wonderful job in composing musics that were able to use only 3 tracks. With the introduction of the time shift track in early 90s.

I knew that name range a bell from my distant past! Ben Daglish, yikes. And The Last Ninja, the game I so badly wanted for my C64 but could never get hold of a copy. Rest in peace Ben Daglish.
