hodni Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 Help pls, this happens when my character kneels I currently use CBBE HDT from bodyslide XP32 maximum skeleton Extended
Andy14 Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 That's (almost) normal. The Skyrim skeleton is for knee, shoulder, Armpits, elbows not particularly "good". And in your case, the skin (BoneWeights) of the Bodymesh is also not very good. Not to say - he is miserable. Because as far as I know, this is a normal sneaking animation? So either a wrong skeleton is installed (i think not) or the installed body (or your variant of this) is garbage. This is a DD stuff - created with BodySlide?

Here is my character and her follower in my current game: As can be seen, there is no deformation at the knees on either one of them. I would start by assuming the problem is in the body's or the skeleton's files. It could be you have something overwriting your skeleton and causing this sort of problem. I would think that, more likely, your body files or your skeleton (or both) have corrupt files. So 1) check your load order and make certain that nothing overwrites your skeleton and 2) uninstall CBBE and XPMSE and reload. Just for clarity let me say that the XPMSE gold standard is the skeleton by Groovtama.
Andy14 Posted October 6, 2018 Posted October 6, 2018 He has XPMSE installed, but that's not a normal sneak animation. Shoulder, elbows, wrists, and knees are bendable only to a degree. With a LowPoly mesh and an average skin, these limits are reached quickly. And these angles are completely exaggerated - there is no skinmorph in Skyrim - as in 3Ds (for example) - with which you could fix this. So my advice is to use other sneak animation (if that's not vanilla, I suppose) and/or check the skin - at least with Outfit Studio.
Adeladen Posted February 9, 2020 Posted February 9, 2020 I have this same thing with Halos poser, with any pose that involves a decent amount of knee bending, so when my character sits down her knee protrudes a bit from her leg, depending on the bending involved. Is there no way to fix this?
