[SOLVED] Broken vanilla animations

Hi all,

usually I can fix animation related problems, but this one is resistent. After about 20 hours into the game, the vanilla animations stopped working (no new mods with anims got into the load order). The animation starts, but it is like I press escape at once, and they stop. I saw thse broken so far: mining, alchemy table, enchant table, bench. I did not try any other vanilla anim, I'm kind of assuming the others are also broken. So for example i click on a bench, the character steps over it and sits down, but then stands up at once again. For the alchemy table the character leans on, I even get the menu for alchemy, but then the character backs away again.

My custom anims work perfectly, for example FNIS Sexy walk, spellcasting anims, sexlab, etc.

I tried the following, not precisely this order (all w/o success):

- update skeleton to XPMSE 4.51 (from 4.50) (and it is at the end of load order)

- reran FNIS

- cleaned save game

- updated LOOT, made new load order

- made a new bashed patch

I tried to google some, and I saw that some people had similar problems, but one was claiming his was fixed by removing "Size Matters" mod. I never had that one in this load order. Atm I'm clueless. I will activate logs and check it there tomorrow (quite late here), I just hope that someone had similar experience and can give me a good pointer or maybe a solution for this. Please help if you can.

Thanks,

M

try deleting "Data\meshes\actors\character\behaviors\0_master.hkx" and re-running it again, that sometimes helps.

Thanks for trying, unfortunately it didn't help.

I made some more experimenting, and the Zaz furnitures behave the same broken way. The character gets into one then exits at once (tried it with some random 8.0+ furnitures, they didn't have script to keep the character in).

It seems the animations are all right, just something makes them end at once automatically. It is like Skyrim continously pressing the Action button in the background...

Is an old problem in base game... make a google search with this:

skyrim can't use alchemy lab or enchanting table

The solution that work for me is:

SOLUTION: This is caused by a mod or a glitch in the game that deactivates player-generated animations. Unistalling this mod will not fix this because your game will still read the animations as deactivated. To fix this you must oppen the console command screen by pressing the "~" key right next to the "1" key and type in player.tai and a message should pop up saying that your animations are turned back on.

Thanks, but this did not help either. Without TAI the character did nothing, with it did the same buggy behavior.

It was hard, but I figured it out. I thought maybe DAYMOYL does this, so 1st I tried to just disable it (did not help), then brute force remove it. It also did not work, because the game crashed when I tore it out, but at least I got a Crashlog from Crash fixes v12.

It was SexLab Adventures, there was a rape event stuck. Thankfully it has a nice Reset function, which worked properly.

Thank you everyone for trying to help, I appreciate it.
