Frozium Posted September 28, 2018 Posted September 28, 2018 I arrived at the castle just to find out the horrible mess of a glitch that was the terrain. I don't know what can be causing it, so I'll post my load order so you guys can tell me. I heard it can be due to placing Oblivion Uncut before the DLC plugin, but that's not my case. I've also been told that I can check for the problem in xEdit and detecting conflicts in the "Worldspace" subrecords, but I don't know how to do that. fejeena Posted September 28, 2018 Posted September 28, 2018 Two Mods use the same place. There is a farmhouse in the castle? I don't have BattlehornCastle installed, but if you know it you know what is wrong. You open the console and click on the wrong house, wall orNPC. You will see a number on the screen. The first two numbers are the Load order ID of the Mod ( the numbers you see in your load order above) e.g. If you see [ 37xxxxxxxx] it is Oblivion Uncut. Check the number in your load order and you know the conflicting Mod. And you have RefScope installed, use it and it will tell you if the house, wall NPC is from Oblivion.esm or BattlehornCastle or another Mod. Then you must decide if you want to use BattlehornCastle or the conflicting Mod , one you must uninstall. ( Or you can use CS and move all things from the conficting Mod to another place and fix the landscape at the BattlehornCastle location. )

If you can identify the second mod, using the CS you can move the cabin outside the keep and use Land Magic to fix any gaps and seams. https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/30519 You can always ditch Battlehorn and install a better keep. I'm so SO tired of troubleshooting mods that I just don't want to give more headaches anymore. I found the problem, Oblivion fucking Uncut. Problem is that if I dare move it before BC it CTDs my game. So you know what? I'll follow your advice and get that Wolfspike Castle. EDIT: too afraid of COBL screwing things even more, but will still look for a replacement. My game is in another castle.
