Psycho_Bill Posted September 10, 2018 Posted September 10, 2018 SkyrimSE ok so i am completely lost now. have been battling this for a while. start new game, play for hours then FPS starts dropping then crashes. thought it was HDT Physics so tweaked around for along time with that but then after i can nolonger play the save. it starts crashing after bout a minute of play. reinstalled the game from my backup (without mods) cuz it takes a day to download the game (lovely internet). ive always had under 30FPS so thought it had something to do with it, running an Nvidia 1050Ti card but could possibly be adjusted wrong. have played the uninstall this mod game many times to try and find out which is causing it but by the time i get 10-20 mods uninstalled the save is corrupted so i uninstall everything then start new game with just the basics like Live Another Life and RaceMenu and the body mods. then after i get to whiterun i install the rest and play for hours. the papyrus log mentions Dual Sheath (which was converted for SE) errors all through the whole log so i uninstalled it. then it was Schlongs of Skyrim, uninstalled that. then it was Fnis Sexy Move... i cant make heads or tails of it. most of my mods are armor and followers and then the adult ones which i even uninstalled all sexual mods, thats when it gets corrupted. so started new game with out them for a while which gets me thinking that maybe they are conflicting. so im hoping i can get some help before i just turn em all off. here is my load order, i rely on Loot too much cuz im still learning what can overwrite what and where to put it. Your gtx 1050 TI have the same performance as my gtx 660 and i play Skyrim at 50-60 fps every days at 1920x1080 without any problem. I have LE 32 bits in a 4 years old machine with i5 4460 + gtx 660 2g and i never get 100% ussage in CPU or GPU playing at 1920x1080 and ussing more than 200 mod's everyday, of course half of them from this web site. While have a semi decent machine skyrim must run perfect, is a game from 2011. Maybe, 7 year ago some people can have performance problems, but today is near imposible. Try you machine with others old games, from 4 years ago at least. Maybe you have some problem in machine configuration, drivers, directx or any other performance problem. You ONLY can get too low fps in Skyrim if you CPU is slow as 10 years ago, like a super slow celeron or a very cutted i3 or if you have only 4 gb of memory. Maybe you try see the game in 4K resolution at 3840 x 2160 in a machine that can not make it. Or you install some high poly mod's or some high resolution textures in 8k and your machine can not handle it. You must have some bad configured. But you have SE 64 bits and near all the optimization tools are made for LE 32 bits because SE 64 bits not need the memory optimization tools, is a 64 bits executable with free memory access and not have any memory limitation. The only tool that i think can help you is BethIni(link for SE). Is a tool for manage the INI files of the game. Maybe you have some bad in the ini files and for that you have very low fps. -------------------------------------- Of course, Skyrim have a golden rule that you must follow ALWAYS and say: NEVER REMOVE OR UNINSTALL MOD'S IN MID PLAY The game store a lot of thing in the savegame and half of them come from the mod's. If you remove, disable or uninstall a mod in mid play your savegame can be unusable and can give you a lot of problems like CTD, freezee, stutering, slow fps, mod's not working... Some mod CAN NOT BE UNINSTALLED NEVER WHITOUT START A NEW GAME, and that is said in the web page of each mod. All the mod's have uninstallation instruction and you MUST FOLLOW it every time you want remove a mod. Each mod say in our page if it can be removed in mid play or not. If the page say NOT remove it in mid play, of course, you can't make it whitout have the corresponding problems. If you whant remove some mod's, that can be removed in mid play whitout problems as said in her web page, you must use ReSaver(link for SE) for clean the savegame. This is said in a lot of web pages. Follow the instructions of the mod's. -------------------------------------- Your other problem can be the HDT system and maybe for that you have all the problems. HDT need a bit of resourced when you install it correctly. But HDT CAN EAT ALL THE RESOURCES of the game if you install it IN-correctly. First reinstall XPMSE and let it overwrite all. XPMSE must overwrite all and none mod can overwrite XPMSE If you have MO put XPMSE very low in the mod list giving it maximun priority. Try you game again. If the problem persist, disable HDT and START A NEW GAME. If the problem persist you must look in other side. If the problem disapper you have a evident problem in HDT and we must start discuss what version of HDT are you ussing and what configuration you have. HDT-PE i think not work in SE 64 bits. You must use at least CBP Physics, that is a cutted version of HDT-PE for SE 64 bits, but i'm not sure about if you can use the normal body with HDT-PE physics or if you must use a special body model. Remenber that i have LE 32 bits and not have a SE 64 bits for make test. If you want, you can try HDT-SMP but is a work in progres made by the chinese comunity and some players have some problems for get the correct files from the chinese web page. After that you must search for body, hair and clothes/armor that are compatible with HDT-SMP, that are diferent to the normal files used by the game and are diferent from the files used in HDT-PE. When you have it, and have the correct files, you must pass it for bodyslide for adatp it to your real body. And finaly, you must manually edit some xml files for have the real desired effect because the reaction of HDT-SMP can be diferent depending of what machine/cpu/gpu you have and must be manually personaliced.
Psycho_Bill Posted September 10, 2018 Author Posted September 10, 2018 Plays other games no problem including Doom. Using hdt from the China site so it's smp. I'm leaning more towards my machine cuz even with no hdt I'm getting 30-60 fps. Will look into that tonight
