Futa Mod?

Im looking for a mod where you can create futas. I already tried LunarEclipse, but the penis is too small for most animations. Are there any alternatives?

Noir's Pornstar Cock and Futanari Penis both work for this purpose, and are available in a variety of sizes. I recommend using WW's penis settings to choose your shape and size.

 

If you want your futas to be proper hermaphrodites, you'll also want the Both Option Pregnancy Mod.

It is short for Futanari or New-Half, a bit of a nebulous Japanese term that applies not only to transwomen but to intersexuals and hermaphrodites/androgynes equally.

A transwoman is a person of female gender and male sex, who may or may not have had surgery(-ies) or hormonal treatment to have her body reflect her identity better. This very much refers to real persons, and is therefore not something I would fetishize, personally.

 

A futa (futanari; ｢ふたなり」、sometimes ｢フタナリ」, ｢双成」, ｢二成」, or ｢二形」, literally: [to be of] two kinds) refers to a hermaphroditic person, that is, a person that possesses functional sexual organs of both sexes (producing both sperm and ova) - nowadays usually with a otherwise feminine appearance.

True hermaphroditism does not exist in real humans (at least not in recorded medical history); the term thus always refers to fictional characters. However, hermaphroditic characters have appeared in in fiction and myths since ancient times (see e.g. Hellenic mythology).

 

Since The Sims plays in a purely fictional universe, and, on top of that, already has fantastical inhabitants ranging from vampires to aliens, I don't see much wrong with adding another category of mythical figures to my game, and naming them as such. Especially in case of true hermaphrodites, where any term applicable to real-world humans would be blatantly incorrect.

 

TL;DR: They're different things - trans person: gender and sex disagree, exists in reality. futa: both sexes (hermaphrodite), purely fictional. Do not confuse them.

Not quite technically correct.

While especially in amateur hentai or slang, the terms are sometimes interchanged, "futanari" by its literal meaning refers to hermaphrodites only.

"New-half" on the other hand is a term that refers to certain trans persons, however their subculture and portrayal thereof can be very different from the western concept of a trans woman, and may often appear downright offensive, as the terms history and usage is closely linked with the sex industry.

For androgynous or intersex characters, a common term is ｢中性的」 or just ｢中性」, meaning "neutral" (as in electric charge, acidity, or grammar), but which can be literally translated as "between the sexes". The official term for intersex is ｢間性」, literally translating to "interval/intervening sex".

At-least they know something about the subject though right, nobody has been discriminatory to trans people so I think its unfair to throw around the term transphobic.

The term f*ta is considered a slur by many trans people due to its strong association with ignorant and fetishising porn, when used in the english-speaking context. That's the transphobia I'm talking about here. Maybe it is a tad unfair for me to accuse people of transphobia if the slur was used with genuine ignorance. I would also add people can be bigoted out of ignorance so they should use this as a call to action.

I think it would be considered ignorant to ignore the fact that futa is just an English translation of a Japanese word for a specific type of Japanese art, pornographic or not its still art and was given a name so people know what to expect from that. I've never heard of it being used as a slang for insulting but any word can be used for that purpose so I don't think we should all just forget the origional purpose and meaning just because some people decided to misuse it.

 

I think these "most trans people" you speaking on behalf of need educating on the fact that some words can be mis-used to be hurtful but that doesn't automatically mean they are a slang/slur for that purpose only. Especially when we're talking about the realm of fictional character arts, there are some things that are not always associated with the human anatomy as described in a post by Tanooki

 

So in my personal opinion and maybe I'm wrong, I have been before, but I don't think its an offensive term, unless used in a derogatory way.

The term Futa has been around a lot longer then this, maybe this contributed to popularising it but its not the reason for it. Most words are shortened, Futa is just short for Futanari.

Concidering even Urban dictionary doesn't recognise it as a slang or slur, I think we can all agree its just a word for a certain type of art.

While the modern sense of the term "futanari" may have been popularized in the west only starting with Toshiki Yui's "Hot Tails" (1993) , the term has been used since at least the 16th century to describe figures of indeterminate or ambiguous sex, androgyny, and various depictions of hermaphroditism, and is sometimes argued to trace back to the introduction of Buddhism to Japan (ca. 7th century), as some Dharmic deities are traditionally considered neither male nor female.

 

The term in modern usage, especially in languages other than Japanese, should certainly never be used to refer to a trans person - that is both hurtful towards the person, and simply incorrect on every level. I'd say the reverse holds also true - calling a hermaphroditic character trans is fallacious, and should be considered insulting to actual trans people.

Therefore, if you see a trans person, and think "futa", you're a bigoted idiot. Likewise, if you see futa, and think "trans person", you're an idiot.

 

 

 

(P.S. Please excuse the mild ranting here. People using these kinds of terms while having no idea what they mean is one of my pet peeves.)

This is one of the most uninformed garbage I've read this year. Futa has absolutely nothing to do with trans. Like the others here already mentioned, Futa is the japanese term for human hermaphrodites - someone with both male and female genitals. "Futa" is a term used exclusively in hentai as a fetish. Nothing "ignorant" about it, just a fetish like any other.

And literally no one thinks Futa is a slur, most people don't even know what a "Futa" is. It's a genre in hentai. A niche fetish in a niche media.

It's great to see an accurate and detailed breakdown for a change. It's a complicated term, so it's understandable why it gets misused by people.

Speaking of futanari or hermaphrodites in general, it's not supported by Wicked Whims, or there would be a "both" option in the radio menu below. This is probably a limitation in the game itself.

Turbo Driver actually does have an optional download for the Both option on the main Wicked Whims site.

mildly relevant, but I have the noir futanari cock with vagina installed, and I want to add it to a male sim. If I select the sim to not have a penis the option doesn't appear amongst the parts in body selector, and they don't appear if I select him to have a penis, either. Is there a way to have a male sim with both a penis and a vagina?

Not unless you convert the lower body to fit a masculine sim frame. It might potentially work with a male with a feminine frame without any re-sculpting at all.

This is a relatively old thread, but I downloaded a Futa Sim character called "Ryan Maddison" from here. I was pretty happy with her in my game. She has a gorgeous female figure, but just happens to have a penis.
