Nohrin Posted August 23, 2018 Author Posted August 23, 2018 I have some good news. I have managed to fix Serana for the most part. I also realize what I did wrong. Hopefully this update will help someone who was in my situation and found this post via Google. The problem was, I did not clean save at some point after updating Serana Dialogue Edit. I had just given up, and decided to create a clean save as a final resort (this probably should have been the first thing I tried). And low and behold, Serana is commenting on locations! Ironically, it's so refreshing to hear her complain about the sun, how open Whiterun city is etc etc. So to sum it up, if anyone has else stumbles upon this thread with the same issue I had, do the following: 1. Make sure Serana Dialogue Edit is loaded last in your load order. 2. Check the factions Serana is under, incase she somehow got put into FLP or AFT/EFF somehow (still haven't found a fix/way to prevent FLP from doing that automatically, will be making a new post regarding FLP in the future) 3. Clean save if the above fails. Uninstall Serana Dialogue Edit, wait 7 days ingame, use a tool like Fallrim Save Cleaner(if you're above the 50k string limit) to clean the save, and then reinstall. Now a problem still exists for me. I cannot seem to advance Serana in her built in relationship framework that apparently comes with Serana Dialogue Edit. After clean saving, I was presented with two new dialogues that I can only assume belong to Serana Dialogue Edit. Those were "I am curious" and "Now that your fathers gone..." After going through each one, you're presented with 3 options, one which increases her built in relationship level, and a message appears saying "Serana loved that" which indicates her relationship level with you increased. But for me, that's where it ends. After those two small dialogue branches, none appear anymore, and I cannot further romance Serana. If anyone knows anything about Serana Dialogue Edit, and how the dialogue appears etc, please help me. I would really like to experience this mod in its full, but I cannot figure out why I only got two lines of dialogue, instead of what should be more. Thanks for all the help, everyone that did help. I had given up, but it looks like I have made progress.

Also, each day you spend with Serana increases relationship rank slightly. There will be other quest-related opportunities added as SDE expands more into the main game.

In other words, if you only use SDE after finishing Dawnguard, her rank/interaction with you is pretty much over, other than the daily increases? That's a shame. I had an outdated version when I played through Dawnguard, so I didn't experience any of it

For example the most recent update to SDE expanded Serana to have dialogue and interactions throughout the entire Dragonborn DLC. Check the SDE page for the update schedule.
