LesboIsBesto Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 So I have been playing my 2B playthrough for a while now & I found something very interesting lately. I have been using Dint's Nier: Automata outfit mod since it was the only one of it's kind although the issue I have with it is the purple texture issue is present with them & I can't figure out why. Here's an example of when it's most obvious: You can see its glow varies from faint to clearly turning purple throughout the armor. I have brought this up to others and people wither have the same issue or none at all. Then I found out Team TAL on Patreon (makers of the Dark Souls/Bloodborne armor/weapon mods) have made their own Nier: Automata outfit mod so I try theirs out to compare and here's the results: No glow, no purplish effect anywhere to be seen (they even have the hair the most accurate looking even tho I'm not wearing it here). Issue here for me personally is how it's too dark and doesn't get the little details Dint's outfit mod has. Am using both as I feel like it but I want to commit to one & get rid of the other for the sake of my load order capacity so my questions are: 1. Who here uses Dint's outfit mod and/or knows how to fix the purple glow effect on his outfits? 2. Which mod does the outfit better in your opinion cuz why not lol?

Purple mesh is mostly: - missing texture / wrong path in Nif - or too little VRAM Glow is a result most of Shader Type / Shader Flags + Vertex Colors My advice: Try to fix the first version - check the Textures / Texture path in NifSkope. Sometimes there are full path information with drive etc. That's wrong - the author did not set up his NifSkope for Skyrim Data. All paths are relative to Data. Note: Your screenshots are too dark to recognize the purple correctly.

Here are pics taken during noon with my ENB off Dont think you can see the purple at all with light out cuz its more obvious at night, least for me

The cause is then in your ENB. Respectively in your ENB and maybe settings of the Nif. Look in the Nif. BSLightingShaderProperty: Emissive Color -> should be black (for most cases) Specular Color -> should be white (for most cases) But more likely than cause is your ENB. There are many possible causes in ENB. But, the color filters in Environment and Object categories should be a first clue for the purple discoloration. Shift+Enter (per default) open in game the ENB Editor. You can open the console first - then you are undisturbed in ENB Editor. If you are not familiar with editing ENB you should use another preset.
