Yetra Posted August 9, 2018 Posted August 9, 2018 Well, like the title suggests, my copy of Skyrim has a little too many animations installed (A little over 8000) for it to always load properly. Here's the situation: -On occasion, when I load up my most recent save (or any save, really), I'll get past a loading screen only to end up in a black void where the occasional sound of a crackling fire can be heard (even if I saved nowhere near such a place). I can't move my character or open any menus and the only option I have is to close the game and try again. It's rather random when this happens, but I can usually expect it to happen the very first time I start Skyrim after turning on my computer. -I know it's an animation problem as I get a log from CrashFixes telling me so everytime this problem happens (unless of course CrashFixes is a filthy, filthy liar, but then that's another problem). I'll attach the exact log I get along with a papyrus.0 log (not sure if that's needed). Anyway, my main question is (assuming I'm correct about the animation issue) would upgrading to FNISXXL solve this issue? And if so, since I manually installed all the FNIS options (spell + creature pack), would I have to delete all of the previous folders that came with them and then re-install FNISXXL and options? Or can I just get rid of the GenerateFNIS_for_Modders and GenerateFNIS_for_Users folders and just have FNISXXL overwrite the rest as the esps are the same? Thanks for the help! GenioMaestro Posted August 9, 2018 Posted August 9, 2018 Your problem is not the numbers of animations and FNIS XXL, of course, not solve it. If you have FootIk error from Crash Fixes is a know problem caused by a thread collision. Install Load Game CTD Fix and tell us the result. 90% of players not need Fnis XXL. I have now 12000 animations with Normal Fnis 7.4.4 I have 220 plugins and the new DD 4.1 with no problems.
Andy14 Posted August 9, 2018 Posted August 9, 2018 That will probably change nothing. The if you run FNIS and there is no error message from FNIS (too many animations, etc.) changes with FNIS XXL probably nothing. The limit is your Skyrim - heaps of mods, many scripts, missing scripts, etc. Did you clean your savegame? I do not think so. You had disabled a mod, then you have to clean up the savegame or better, start a new game. If you did that and the cleaned savegame is loaded in skyrim, then check your papyrus.log again for missing files in the first 20 lines. For example, 2 FNIS files are missing.
