Pose mods for storytelling recommendations?

Salutations fellow storytellers;

I'm currently using Halo's Poser, Puppet Master, Kinoko Poser and a large amount of SLAL packs for the animations in my story pictures. However; I know there are more pose mods out there and thus; I wish to expand on the amount of animations available so what other pose mods would you recommend and very briefly; why? I'll go ahead and start off:

I use Halo Poser for the sheer amount of poses available as well as it's user-friendliness; there's a colossal amount of animations to be found from pinups to objects, pairs and many animations which can be utilized for many different purposes. It also has it's fair share of combat related poses and it also includes a section for male specific poses. As an added bonus; Halo's Poser mod allows you to also use the poses on NPCs which in my opinion makes it a must-have for storytellers who rely on images to help convey and/or support their stories.

I use puppet master to quickly access a small selection of bondage related poses for my player character. NPCs can also be setup to use the poses once you recruit them via the spell; "Puppet".

I use Kinoko Poser as well; Kinoko Poser doesn't boast a huge amount of poses however they're cute, charming and well worth a shot; it's mostly geared for screenshots IMO but some of the animations are more than usable for stories; e.g. holding up a potion in a hand; observing it; holding up a skull (a trophy from a fallen foe perhaps?), etc.

As for SLAL I pretty much installed most of the packs available on LL which gives me a great variety of animations for the erotic scenes - (No idea how to paste the installed animation list from FNIS.)

Looking forward to see your recommendations. ?

I basically only use Halo Poser. I think there are over 2000 Poses so you basically find whatever you need for every situation.

I highly recommend using Nioverride-pose-adjustments as it lets you adjust individual poses for you main character, which is super helpful for paired scenes.

I sometimes use some of Collygons poses, mostly the combat poses and the bow (to bow) poses.

Btw. you can play all zaz poses without an extra mod, just using the playidle command on the console.

:O I was not aware it had that many poses. Wow. I'll have to dedicate a day to purely exploring every nook and cranny of it. As for Nioverrride pose adjustments; thanks for letting me know about it; it looks very useful - I've often had my character's heads looking too low or too high during a scene at one another; this will surely bring that problem to a grinding halt.

I've seen a few combat poses in Halo Poser though I'll definitely look around for more; those along with Nioverride pose adjustments sounds like a great combo :D

Nice to know - I'll have to take a look into that command; I'm sure I saw it referenced under some pose mods before.

Thanks for the recommendations.

Wulf Poser is a must for more story like poses. I love using it. With Gomapero Pose right behind that. You can really help show more meaning and intent from the characters with these.

Thanks for the recommendations; I'll be giving these a try - Wulf Poser; the preview images really showcase the possibilities in both creating emotion and furthering the story whilst Gomapero has quite a few poses which can also be used in a variety of story-driven situations. ?

I looked into the command; my dreams of drinking a tankard whilst standing have finally been realized. (A feat I thought was only possible with Ineed active) ? Vanilla has quite a few good anims too to make use of in screenshots.

Render Poses is pretty good if you need some poses for weapons.  Pretty good variety of weapons covered, too, though this in turn means a somewhat limited selection of poses per weapon type.

On the same topic, Nise Pose is fantastic if you want weapon poses exclusively for one- or two-handed weapons.  Great variety, and Nise has a fantastic sense of weight and balance.

And finally, if magic is more your speed, excuse me while I shamelessly self-promote.

@Jexsam Thanks for the suggestions; I certainly see some great poses for storytelling in the three packs you've linked above. ?

I was actually planning a story with a strong emphasis on magic but I didn't feel like I had a awful lot of choice in terms of magic poses. ? I'll definitely give your pack a go; thanks again.

Thanks for the poser tips. Halo Poser is lacking weapon poses and all three of your recommendations look fantastic, especially Nise Pose for the swords that I am mostly using.
