MonkeyShoulder Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Hey this is just a quick request. Can anyone create some large hoop earrings like in the following: If you're interested have a look at the guys gallery http://looks-can-kill.deviantart.com/ The cross-section is a D shape, not O. Also, if anyone feels up to trying to create that outfit, using TBBP CBBE then that would also be awesome.
ThatGuyJonus Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/11130 The images don't show all the rings in this one but they are there. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/24549
Niobia Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 I use the http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/11130 hoop earrings for all my characters. Glad to see theres other ear ring mods out there
MonkeyShoulder Posted October 18, 2012 Author Posted October 18, 2012 Ive tried using HN66s earrings but they aren't large enough for me. Had a look at Severus's ones, i'll see if there is the type im looking for in there. What i've been looking for is plain without added bits.
MonkeyShoulder Posted October 18, 2012 Author Posted October 18, 2012 awesome. Tried to do it myself but I have no idea about how to get a mesh into the game.

timstertimster Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 http://www.mediafire.com/?tsb5p1jro4388z5 Craftable in jewelry. hi there. I'm using your hoop earrings as a tutorial file to teach myself how to make craftable items. But I'm lost, not sure if you might be willing to share some knowledge? I'm looking at both nif files in nifscope. It seems that somehow if you have blender or max you can just export this stuff with a mouse click, but there seems to be something about where in the space you're supposed to position them? nif is a weird format, reminds me of xml a bit. I dont understand it
timstertimster Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 If you're interested have a look at the guys gallery http://looks-can-kill.deviantart.com/ how about some thin large ones... like here http://looks-can-kill.deviantart.com/art/bonus-warrior-princess-313403957
Koko.Hekmatyar Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 http://www.mediafire.com/?tsb5p1jro4388z5 Craftable in jewelry. Can these be used with hoods? I used HN66's once but his uses the helmet slot.
kanashgui Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 http://www.mediafire.com/?tsb5p1jro4388z5 Craftable in jewelry. it doesnt work for me, i have them in the inventory, but they dont show up when equipped
Dyslexic Krogan Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 http://www.mediafire.com/?tsb5p1jro4388z5 Craftable in jewelry. Thank you for this! You can never have enough earrings!
PenguinDust Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 http://www.mediafire.com/?tsb5p1jro4388z5 Craftable in jewelry. I just checked these out and they are wonderful. Thank you.
Z0mBieP00Nani Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 http://www.mediafire.com/?tsb5p1jro4388z5 Craftable in jewelry. Tried these on my elf, they are in the right area but they aren't acually in the ear lobes, they are off to the sides a little. Are these only designed for humans, or is it because I'm using EEO (Ethereal Elven Overhaul), or Race Menu?
Vioxsis Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 They were fitted to the vanilla human head nif... i think. Well if you want them to fit your elf better you will need to edit there position. If you only need to move it up/down (Z axis) or forward/backward (Y axis) you should be able to do this in nifskope. But if you need to move them left/right (X axis) you will have to do that in max/blender.
Kestrix Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 These are gorgeous! Any chance of fitting it to khajiits?
Vioxsis Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Where should i place them? *edit* ? *edit2* http://www.mediafire.com/download/qcruiccfqsmr7iw/Hoop_Earrings_V2.7z Added Khajiit version, i also split them up so you can edit the x axis in nifskope. Not tested.
Z0mBieP00Nani Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 My elf uses the vanilla ear mesh, the earings need to move on the X axis towards the sides of the lower jaw on either side, and down on the Z axis slightly. I see you made a version that can be modified on the X axis in NifSkope, how would I go about doing that? My knowledge is limited as far as 3D editing. EDIT: Another thought would be to position them about a third of the way up the ear from the ear lobe.

Not tested. Perfect! You are a godsend. That's just the right position for the ear bells I use. Thank you for being super awesome! Do you mind if I retex them to silver?
Z0mBieP00Nani Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 I tried adjusting ALL the meshes (just to be sure) in NifSkope as suggested but nothing changed in game, the earrings remained in the same place after every adjustment, so either I'm adjusting the wrong thing or skipping a step to finalize the adjustments (a likely possibility since I don't really know what I'm doing), or the earings just can't be adjusted in NifSkope.

You may have to right click on the nitrishape, then select transform>Apply, then choose the "try anyway" button in order to register your changes. Also, some adjustments may have no effects at all in game. What works for sure, is to go to NiTriShape>NiSkinInstance>NiSkinData, then on Block details open Bone List, then open Bone List again, then open Skin Transform, then play with X, Y and Z translations.

Too bad there is so few things for khajiit. I guess the other races just need more shinies to compete with our awesome.
